Well in BTech's first year irrespective of the branches or your specialization, the subjects thought are the same. Physics and chemistry are there which mainly include Molecular orbital theory and Bond Theory as the basics. And in Physics very general idea of your 12th syllabus would work as well.

In Mathematics you need to practice, P&C, differentiation, and Integration a lot. They literally stick to mathematics 2 in the next semester.

If you are taking admission through JEE main you have to pass your 10+2 exam with minimum 75% marks. This marks will vary in different colleges. Mainly minimum 50-60% marks you should obtained in your 10+2 exam for you admission.

So, if this is your case then you could take a re-exam in the subject of your choosing or take admission into a school affiliated with any board because in 2 years , at the age of 17 you would be eligible to appear for 12th exam as per various boards norms.

So, with regard of you're query. you're eligible for JEE mains 2023. there no 75% percent rule and I am mentioning the other qualifications for jee 2023 below:

There is no upper age limit. A recognized board's 10+2 or comparable exams must have been passed by candidates. Only those candidates will be eligible for JEE Main 2023 who passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2021, 2022, or who are sitting for it in 2021.

To be eligible for giving the KVPY examination, you should belong to Science stream and have to get minimum of 75% in class 10th if you belong to General category. For SC/ST/PwD, it is 65%. So i guess you may not be able to give the examination but It is pleasing to hear that you've improved a lot after your 10th and to be honest 86% in class 11th is a very good score. And you will do even better in your 12th class for sure. You've got a good future kid. Cheer up!!
