Can I get admission in galgotias University on the basis of class 12 boards percentage?
Hello!
hope you are doing well.
No, you cannot get admission in Galgotias University on the basis of 12th boards percentage.
Galgotias University provides UG courses for specialization in Engineering, Law, Commerce, Science, Humanities, etc. Admission to B.Tech will be based on the marks secured in GEEE conducted by the University. JEE/UPSEE qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination. For admission into BA-LL.B (Hons) and BBA- LL.B (Hons), candidates need to appear in the GULSAT exam. Admission to LLB (Hons) is based on merit in CLAT/LSAT. Admission to the rest of the courses will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination or entrance examination conducted by the University.
Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you can repeat the PCM group in the NIOS board exam. Scoring good marks on this board will ensure your eligibility for various exams. You have to score 50% score or more to be eligible for various exams.
But different exams have different eligibility norms. For example, JEE Mains requires a minimum of 75% in total to sit for the exam.
National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) oversees the Senior Secondary exam you can give without expending a year. The mode of application filling occurs online. The exam will occur offline. The exam time is 3 Hours for a written exam and a practical exam for the subject with a practical.

I failed in Maths which was my (optional subject) in class 12 from WB board but passed in rest 5 compulsory subjects which include PCB, Eng and Beng PCB% = 60 (P= 47,C= 66, B=67),Result Status= PASSED, will there be any problems in admission in medical college after clearing neet?
Hello,
Candidates must have completed class 12 in PCB with a minimum of 50% of the possible points in order to be eligible to apply for NEET 2022. Only 40% on the qualifying exam was required for candidates in the reserved category. The NMC updated the 2022 NEET Eligibility Criteria. The 25-year maximum age restriction has been eliminated.
So, according to the eligibility criteria of NEET, you are eligible to admit in medical college after NEET without math. Math is not compulsory for NEET.
Thank You
what is the minimum % required in class 12 board for iit jee , please tell me
Hello Aspirant,
For current academic year i.e. 2022-23, there is no any minimum requirement of any fixed range of marks in class 12th for admission to IITs on the basis of JEE-Advance 2022 score. This is because for this year as well, government has waived off the 75% criteria and for JEE 2022 you need to only pass class 12th in all the subjects.
But of you are asking for next academic year then at this moment it is quite difficult to predict anything for next year and if the criteria gets restored then the candidates having less than the 75% will not be eligible for JEE-Advance.

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
how is class 12 cbse 2021-2022 mark is aggregated??
Dear Nandini,
To understand, students may please note that the final score of CBSE subjects has two components – theory and practical. Depending on the subject, the practical component varies from 50 marks to 20 marks. For the computation of Class 12 Results, the practical marks scored by students would be taken as it is.
For the theory component, which conversely would be 50 marks to 80 marks, CBSE has proposed a 30:30:40 ratio split. In other words, to calculate the marks of Class 12 theory papers, schools would give 30% weight to Class 10, 30% to Class 11, and 40% to Class 12.
It is again reiterated that only the theory marks would be calculated with the formula of 30:30:40. The practical marks scored by the students would be taken as it is. The same is tabulated below.
Theory Marks | Practical Marks
Class 10 | Class 11 | Class 12 | Class 12
Criteria | Marks based on avg theory component of best three performing subjects out of main 5 subjects marks marks marks | Marks based on theory component of final exam marks marks marks | Marks based on unit test/ mid-term/ pre-board exams | As it is |
% Component | 30% | 30% | 40% | 100% |
80 | 24 | 24 | 32 | 20 |
70 | 21 | 21 | 28 | 30 |
60 | 18 | 18 | 24 | 40 |
50 | 15 | 15 | 20 | 50 |
30 | 9 | 9 | 12 | 70 |
30% of Class 10
Also, for Class 10 marks, CBSE would take the average marks of the best three performing subjects. What is important to remember is that only the theory paper marks would be considered. To explain it further, let’s consider the Class 10 mark sheet below.
Subject | Theory | Practical | Total |
English | 74 | 20 | 94 |
Maths | 65 | 20 | 85 |
Science | 70 | 20 | 90 |
Social | 68 | 20 | 88 |
Hindi | 60 | 20 | 80 |
Now, as per the given marks, the student has the best performance in English, Science, and Social. The average marks for the Class 10 component would be (74+70+68)/3 which would be 70.67 and not (94+90+88)/3 which is 90.67. Now, these marks would be then scaled based on whether the theory was for 80 marks or 70 or 50.
For an 80-mark paper, the 70.67 would then be converted to marks out of 24 or 70.67 of 24, which would come out as 21.2 marks. Similarly, for a subject like Physics, where the theory is out of 70, the calculation of Class 10 marks would be out of 21, which would be 18.55 marks, and so on.
30% of Class 11
This is rather a straightforward calculation. Schools have to consider only the final score of the theory component of the subjects chosen by the student. While the average score of Class 10 was taken as one score, for Class 11, the schools would take the final marks of Class 11 exams in that particular subject and compute it.
So, say a student scored 65 out of 80 in English in Class 11, for tabulation purposes, the school would take the same score. For this, the student would be 19.5 out of 24 in the final tabulation.
40% of Class 12
For Class 12, the resulting committee set by the school would decide the marks that would be considered. The schools may consider a weighted average of mid-terms and pre-boards or only the pre-board result. This again would be the marks scored in theory. Now, again, for convenience, let us presume the school decides to take the average score of students’ pre-board examination only.
Now, taking an example again, say out of 80 the student scored 70 in English in the pre-board exams. Now, the school would compute these marks out of 40% or 32, which comes out to be 28.
How final CBSE Class 12 Results would be tabulated?
Now, taking the same example as mentioned above, the Class 12 marks for the student in English, say if he scored 20 in practical examinations, would be as follow.
Theory Marks (Out of 80) | Practical Marks (Out of 20) | Total Marks
Class 10 | Class 11 | Class 12 | Class 12 | Out of 100
Out of 24 | Out of 24 | Out of 32 | Out of 20
English | 21.2 | 19.5 | 28 | 20 | 88.7 |
Students and parents may please note that this is only a tentative plan. The marks provided above are only for reference. Also, the criteria for class 12 would differ from school to school. Furthermore, once the score is calculated, the same would then be subjected to moderation, like in Class 10 where the result of the school of the past three years would be considered.
Hope it was helpful.
sir how much mark I am score in 12th for without fees
Student,
It really depends on which branch and college you're going for. If you're seeking a government college you will have to give required entrances and score atleast above 95% marks for merit based scholarships in private colleges like VIT and even for admission in college like Delhi University. I hope it clears it up. All the best!
can we do forestry training after class 12 through arts background?
Hello student,
Any candidate interested in becoming a Forest Ranger should possess degree in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Geology, Statistics, Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering or Agriculture. So, if you fall under this category your eligible to continue for history training after class 12th.
Good luck...
How much minimum score needed for addmission in IIIT , GFIT, NIT in class 12 or Jee mains for SC category
Hello,
There is as such no minimum score predicted before hand of the examination because these things depends on certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.
But if you still insist then i would suggest that you should be scoring atleast 100 in order to get a good branch in decent NITs like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar,Goa, Patna.
