The CG PAT exam 2024 was held on June 9. The CGPEB will announce the CG PAT result 2024 in online mode. The CG PAT 2024 exam is conducted every year for admission into a number of undergraduate courses B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Horticulture courses. Candidates must check the CG PAT eligibility criteria 2024 prior to applying for CG PAT registration 2024. The CG PAT entrance exam is conducted in offline mode, throughout 28 centres across Chhattisgarh. There are approximately 1259 BSc Agriculture seats available in nearly 21 universities across the state.

What is CG PAT?

CG PAT is a state-level exam for admission to agricultural courses offered by recognised institutes in the state of Chhattisgarh. Every year, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducts the Chhattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (CG PAT). The test is held annually at the state level to provide admission to colleges offering Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agri.) and Bachelor of Horticulture (B.Horti.) programmes. Aspirants for the CG PAT 2024 entrance exam are shortlisted based on the CG PAT 2024 merit list. The three-hour entrance exam is pen-paper based.

CG PAT 2024 Highlights

Candidates taking the CG PAT 2024 should check the eligibility requirements for their desired programmes and universities. Candidates must have a minimum education qualification of higher secondary (10+2) or any equivalent examination in Science stream or Life Sciences/Agricultural Sciences, and Agricultural Mathematics/Crop Production and Horticulture with at least 35% marks in the qualifying exam from a recognised board to be eligible for the CG PAT 2024.

Mode of Application : Online

CG Professional Examination Board has released the CG PAT 2024 application form on March 13. Candidates must submit their applications online. Candidates who want to study Agriculture, Horticulture, or Veterinary Medicine must fill out an application form. To fill out the CG PAT 2024 application form, the candidate must have completed class 12 and meet other eligibility criteria. Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit the CG PAT 2024 official website.

• Click the link that displays the "Apply online" tab.

• After clicking the "New Online Registration" tab, register at the CG PAT website by providing the candidate's name and a valid email address.

• Passwords will be emailed to candidates who have successfully registered.

Step 2: Filling Out Form

• Candidates must return to the CG PAT login page.

• Log in using your email address and the password sent to your registered email address by clicking on the "Existing Users Login" section.

• Fill out all of the information requested on the application form, including personal and academic information.

• Upload your scanned passport photo and signature.

• Submit the completed CG PAT 2024 online application form.

Step 3: Fee Payment

• Candidates must pay the application fee for each category using net banking/debit card/credit card.

• Candidates should keep the payment receipt generated after a successful payment.

• The authority may request a fee receipt during counselling and admission.

• Following the registration process, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.

The CG PAT 2024 exam pattern specifies that the exam lasts three hours in total. Each Agriculture & Science group will have three sections in the CG PAT exam pattern 2024. In CG PAT 2024, the Agriculture group include Elements of Science Mathematics useful for Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture, Elements of Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farming sections, while the Science group includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology sections. The CG PAT 2024 exam consists of multiple-choice questions. The CG PAT 2024 exam pattern will consist of 200 questions for a total of 200 marks.

CG PAT 2024 Test Structure

CG Professional Examination Board has issued the CG PAT 2024 admit card for the registered candidates on May 31. CG PAT 2024 admit cards/ hall tickets can be downloaded from the official website using their registration ID/ application number and date of birth. On the exam day, the candidate must bring the  admit card as well as one photo ID. Entry is not permitted without the admit card or a softcopy of the admit card, candidates must carry their admit cards to their respective CG PAT 2024 exam centres.
