BHU UET Exam Pattern 2019

BHU UET Exam Pattern 2019 – Banaras Hindu University is likely to announce BHU UET 2019 exam pattern for admission to UG programmes like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. in the last week of December 2018. BHU UET 2019 is likely to start from first week of April 2019. Candidates are required to go through the expected BHU UET exam pattern 2019 listed below to get an idea of the question paper structure and type of questions to be asked. There will be separate exams for different courses but certain courses will have common tests. In case of common test, the course of candidate’s admission will depend on his merit, preference given on the counselling day, and eligibility. As per BHU UET 2019 exam pattern, BHU UET questions would be MCQ based and there would be negative marking. Candidates appearing for B.A. (Hons.) Arts BHU UET 2019 are required to have a look into the below mentioned exam pattern of BHU UET 2019 for B.A. (Hons.) Arts. How to Answer the Test

 

1. A separate question and answer booklet will be provided to the candidates. Within ten minutes of the issue of the question booklet, the candidate must check that the booklet has all the pages arranged in a correct order and has all pages and questions. In case of any discreprancy, the candidate must inform the invigilator.

 

2. The candidate is instructed to write his/her roll no., question booklet no, and set no. in the designated places. He/she will also have to fill in the roll no. in the designated place by darkening the appropriate ovals. Candidates are strictly advised to fill in their roll no. and set no. correctly as any error will result in wrong evaluation of the answer sheet. Further, non-filling of roll no./set no./any vital section will lead to non-evaluation of the answer sheet.

 

3. The candidate must use only ink/ball point pen while filling in the details.

 

4. Each question will have four options. The candidate will have to choose the answer which he/she feels to be correct and darken only that circle with blue/black ball point only. An answer will be treated incorrect if more than one oval is darkened/ oval is improperly darkened/ other marks such as cross marks, tick marks, dots, line marks are used. Answers with half-filled ovals or marks outside the oval will not be considered for evaluation.

 

5. Candidate must remember that it will not be possible to rectify any error made by him/her while darkening the ovals. He/she will not be able to make any change in the answer after darkening the ovals. Use of whitener to change answers is strictly prohibited.

 

5. If a candidate does not know the answer to a question, he/she is to leave the ovals unmarked. A non-attempted question will be given zero mark.

 

6. Candidates may use the inner cover page of the question booklet or the blank space/page at the end of question booklet for rough work.

 

7. The candidate must not remove or tear any page from the question booklet; otherwise, he/she will be subject to punishment applicable for adoption of unfair means. Further, he/she shall not be allowed to sit for the entrance test.

 

BHU UET Exam Pattern 2019: Marking Scheme

 

Candidates are advised to go through the below mentioned BHU UET marking scheme for 2019 so that they can plan out how to approach the question paper and chart out a time management strategy for BHU UET 2019.

 

1. As per the exam pattern for BHU UET 2019, each question carries three marks. There will 150 questions in total. Maximum marks of BHU UET 2019 will be 450.

 

2. There will be negative marking as per BHU UET 2019 exam pattern. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

 

3. Making any error while darkening the oval (darkening more than one oval, darkening the oval improperly, other marks such as cross marks, tick marks, line marks, dots, and so on) will deem the answer incorrect and therefore, one mark will be deducted.

 

4. A non-attempted question will be given zero mark.

 

BHU UET 2019 Exam Pattern: Exam Day Instructions

 

1. Candidates must compulsorily carry BHU UET Admit Card 2019 and Aadhaar card to ensure their entry into the examination hall on the exam day. In case, the candidate has not been issued Aadhaar, he/she must carry any of the proofs: passport no./ ration card no./ bank account no./ any other valid government id no. Also, the candidate may should not have tampered with the admit card. The photograph on the admit card should match with his face. The signature made at the time of the entrance test must match with the one on the application form.

 

2. Candidates are advised to reach the exam hall at least an hour before the exam is scheduled to begin. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall thirty minutes after the scheduled time of the exam.

 

3. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall till the end of the test.

 

4. Candidates are not allowed to carry calculators/watch calculators, pager, electronic diary, mobile phones, earphones, digital watches with memory, slide rule, alarm clock, licensed weapons, fire arms, tools which can be used as harmful weapons in exam hall.

 

5. Any candidate found in possession of loose paper, relevant or irrelevant to the exam, will be debarred from appearing for the exam.
