I have completed my class 10 in 2020 and class 12 in 2023 because I repeat class 12 twice due to low marks in pcm . Is there any possibility to get sponsorship from Companies like anglo , great , synergy, BSM , MSC etc.

Sanjana 19th Jan, 2025

Hello,

Yes, there is still a possibility to secure sponsorships from companies like Anglo-Eastern, Great Eastern, Synergy, BSM, MSC, or similar shipping companies, even if you repeated Class 12 due to low marks. However, securing sponsorship largely depends on meeting their specific eligibility criteria, which usually focus on:

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Marks: Most maritime companies require at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12 and a minimum of 50% in English (in either Class 10 or 12).

If your repeated Class 12 scores meet these criteria, you can still qualify for sponsorship.

i passed 12th in 2022 but due to less than 50% in pcb I reappeared class 12 in 2023 from same school but now my Marksheet mentions private candidate, according to new notice by nta posted on 9th Feb 2024 , private candidates are not eligible for neet ,what should I do now?

Ishita 21st Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

You may have read the notice wrong because in the NEP 2020, it is nowhere mentioned that private candidates cannot appear for NEET.

The eligibility criteria for NEET is that the candidate must have passed Class 10 or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks and be appearing for Class 12 or have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. That's it. Nothing has been mentioned about the Board of Examination. You can appear for NEET despite being a private candidate.

Hope this helps

are class 12 practical marks added in score aggregate for neet ug counseling

Nisha Singh 28th Feb, 2024

Marks is being considered for the eligibility part. It does not have any role in counselling, but to become eligible in NEET exam you need to score 50% in Class 12th which includes both theory and practical as per the guidelines issued by NTA.

sudikshasriwastava02 7th Feb, 2024
Hey student,

Hope you are doing well !

Yes , it is a very good idea to crack jee . The Joint Entrance Examination is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examinations: the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advanced.
Jee is a tough exam but  everything is possible.
If you want to do anything go for it.
And never think you are poor in studies. With consistency you will be perfect just revise & be dedicated.

Yes, you can repeat class 12 in the Maharashtra Board after scoring 48% in the science stream. Depending on the board's policies, you may need to retake practical exams. You can opt for either a supplementary exam to clear failed subjects or a marks improvement exam to enhance your scores. Check with your school or the board for specific procedures.
