Hi
ECA quota in DU admission is the most reliable way to achieve admission in Delhi University if the candidate has served the district, state, national, or international designated extra-curricular activities (ECA).Candidates who are applying through this classification can expect relaxation in marks up to 15% (for open applicants) in merit records. The services for NGO is not considered.
BHM in Culinary
Admission
Aspiring eligible candidates need to qualify a relevant entrance exam for admission to the course. The Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts Common Entrance Examination (IIHMCA CEE) is one such exam.
The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) assesses candidates along parameters such as General Knowledge, General English Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
Hello Sahil,
Sad to hear that due to Covid your 12th Board percentage got decreased to 60%. But you can increase your marks by giving NIOS .
For JEE MAINS, a student must have to score 75% or above in his/her 12th Board which must have Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as an additional mandatory subject.
To increase your percentage, you can definitely repeat your Class 12th by giving NIOS examination. If you want to give exam for only one subject then the marks of rest of the subjects will be automatically added to your newly generated marksheet of NIOS.
So, coming back to your question, YES , you can definitely increase your percentage to 75% and above if you study well for it and give NIOS examination of 12th Class. Furthermore, the newly generated 12th Marksheet will not at all interfere with your JEE MAINS & IIT-ADVANCED exams if you score minimum of 75% in your NIOS 12th repeat exam .

Thank You.
You didn't mentioned the subject you needed or whether the college specifically you needed.
Usually for every undergraduate courses the eligibility criteria is candidates should have passed there 12th with 50% or above marks. Admissions are based on merit or entrance examinations. There are lots of entrance examinations offered by different universities individually or entrance exams conducted by States. For almost every degree courses admissions are available through merit and also management quota. Through entrance examination you just have to perform well in the exam it doesn't matter how much you scored in your 12th.
It would have been better if you have mentioned to the subject of stream you are in.

Hope thsi helps.
Thank you
This year (2022), National Testing Agency or NTA has removed all the percentage criteria for Joint Entrance Examination, so you no longer need to have 75% marks in your class XIIth examinations.
If you even take a drop and plan to give JEE next year even then there is no problem as the minimum requirement is 75% and you have more than that. So, if you just do well in JEE Main, you'll be eligible to give JEE Advanced!
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
