is cbse give step marking in class 12 2020 examination

Aditya kumar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2019

Hello there!

Greetings!

Yes , cbse gives step marking and  step marking will be there in cbse board exam 2020 as well, so you don't need to worry about this at all.  Cbse follows a marking scheme according to marking scheme fir copy  checking and marking scheme takes care of step marking etc . For example,  if there's a 6 marks question in Mathematics,  you did all the steps right but in the last step you made a calculation mistake and you got a wrong answer,  so in this case you will get at least 4 marks.  So , yes step marking is there in cbse. Prepare well for board exam.

thankyou

Currently I am studying in class 12,but I am having no intrest on studies what to do, In class 10 and 11 I studied well and I got 88% above in both exam. If my midterm exam is there today,I am having no fear about the exam, If I learn some concept it is not retaining in Brain for long time.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2019
Dear Manju, did you know the brain can only hold little. Beyond that any stress that you put to your brain, you should train your brain to endure it. Now you have 2 issues to be sorted out. Your lack of interest and stressing yourself. Now whether you are interested or not, you have to complete this Class 12. By the looks of it, you do not lack talent. Atleast your marks show that you are an intelligent student. So somehow you need to convert your intellect to interest. Because if you stop half the way, you will be called a drop out. How much ever people say Education is not important, not every understudied or drop out become a Steve Jobs or a Mark. There are still unnoticed and unheard drop outs whose existence we even dont know. You will not be remembered as a guy who did exceptionally good. Our world is so fast pased that it has no place and time for under achievers. You can make your studies interesting. Or take a week break from everything and start fresh. You need a break to revitalise everything. Speak to your parents and tell them all you need is a week break to get back into the groove. And thr 2nd important thing is not to stress yourself. No good comes from stressing yourself. You acknowledged that you are losing focus on studies. That is the first step towards everything.
