If I completed my class 12 from biology and SSC CHSL exam so can I get Data Entry job if yes then were and what is the process?

Sumedha Bhattacharya 28th Mar, 2022

Dear Student ,

First of all, if you have cleared SSC CHSL , then congratulations !

Well, SSC CHSL recruitment is generally for Lower Divisional Clerk, Sorting/Postal Assistant and Data Entry Operator(grade A) .

If you have got the DEO post ..then it's good ! Still, I'm telling the Recruitment process for DEO post :

  • Generally, for DEO post , in Tier 3: Typing test.. candidates need to clear the test with the typing speed of 8000 key depression per hour
  • DEO vacancy is basically less than the the available posts
  • After qualifying the Tier 3 and Doc Verification round, you'll be asked to fill up the form for choice filling or zone  selection , based on the availability and your scoring marks !

You can find more details about this exam form here :

I have opted for Humanities in class 12(ISC board) . I have the following subjects : Geography, History, Political Science and Economics besides English. I want to pursue MSc in Geography amd not MA and want to become a Researcher. Is it possible to go ahead without Mathematics?

Arhana Chakraborty 27th Mar, 2022

MSc Geography course you need to have BSc Geography course which requires you to have Mathematics compulsorily as a subject in your 10+2. So without Mathematics you can't do MSc Mathematics.

Now doing MA Geography also you can pursue your dream of being researcher. Not all the researchers in Geography are from the science background. During the PhD interviews & entrance, both MSc & MA graduates gives the same paper. So don't worry about that, if being a researcher is your dream then MA/MSc don't matter. The important thing that is required is your will power regarding the subject you are studying.

For more information regarding Geography as a career choice, consider visiting the link provided below:

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
