i havent opted for mathematics in class 12 and now i wanted to take admission in IPU for b.com(hons) .Can i ?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 12th Jul, 2020

Hey!

Well, in general it is compulsory to have maths for b. Com honours but each university has its own criteria. Mathematics is not necessary to pursue b. Com honours from GGSIPU. But you need to have atleast 50% in 10+2 and admissions are done on the basis of rank from IPUCET entrance exam.

Thank you

How to prepare for board exam of class 12 in pcm to get above 95 percentage

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

Hi

Getting a score of 95% in board examination is not that difficult , what all required is perseverance ,hard work and honesty for your preparation.

Follow the below tips:-

  • First of all go through NCERT and don't ignore it at all most of the questions in board examination are based on NCERT, you can take the help of reference books to understand the difficult  topics and have better understanding  but major focus should be on NCERT
  • Focus more on miscellaneous exercises of NCERT Maths
  • For chemistry go through all the solved examples and intext and exercise questions of NCERT , in organic chemistry focus more on name reactions there are two questions from name reaction each year in board examination and many questions are based on them directly
  • For physics,  practice  all the derivations from time to time as there are chances of forgetting them if you don't revise them
  • Go through previous 10 year board examination question papers as concepts are often repeated in board exam so it will be of great help in your preparation
  • Once you are done with your complete board examination syllabus go through at least 3-5 mock test papers in each subject

Thank you

I really want to crack jee Im in class 12 but Im wasting too much of my time in social media and Netflix even though I try to uninstall the apps I tend to find other stuffs to keep me engaged I really couldnt get over this habit mine please suggest how could a reduce my distraction!

Sk Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

What we understand from what you have written is that you lack discipline.  Meaning you adore to do many things but lack the will power to implement.  The real reason is that you find these tasks to be rather painful and so you keep putting them off.  The brain will never want to do anything that causes pain and studies is one of them. In order to get out of this cycle, we can suggest the Pomo doro Method.

In the Pomo dora method, you concentrate for just 25 minutes at a time to your studies and then take a few minutes break. Then come back for another 25 minutes, after that another small break.  This way we can break down that big problem of yours into smaller but manageable ones.  If you practice for a week, then your subconscious mind will start to push you to start studying in earnest.

Also it is very important to exercise as exercise also releases Dopa mine, which is a feel good chemical and help builds better neural structures. Lastly when studying a difficult chapter and if it becomes difficult to understand – don’t break your head, do some exercise and then come back to tackle it.

In short, take small steps to achieve your real goal.

Good Luck!

how to cover 11th and 12th syllabus in one year parallel

S. Saha Student Expert 1st Jun, 2020
This is one of the problems many students face as they don't give importance to class 11 chapters. We are often told just to pass. But one thing to understand, that you must read all the topics of 11 to understand the topics of 12. They are interrelated. In this one year time, you must complete the chapters of 11 first, then move on to the chapters 12. Class 11 syllabus is the building block.

Some of the important chapters of Class 11 Physics that you must cover-
Heat and thermodynamics, waves, laws of motion, Gravitation, Simple harmonic motion, Work, power Energy, Fluid dynamics.

Chemistry-
Mole concept, thermodynamics, Chemical bonding, Redox, periodic elements, Atomic structure, equilibrium.

Maths-
Quadratic equations, limits, Derivatives, Permutation and Combination, Sets, relation and function, Ellipse, Parabola, Hyperbola, probability.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can become a data analyst or data scientist with the subjects you have in your plus two. All you have to do is enroll in a btech program in either computer science or better have a btech in machine learning and data science.

To get a btech college, you have to give JEE exam which is a entrance exam for admission in the btech course at the top colleges.
