i failed in my Maths in Class 12 but was given pass in my Marksheet . l did graduation from college and now i wanna appear for CAT . Can i give CAT after being failed in maths class 12

Sharon Rose Student Expert 3rd Dec, 2020

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for CAT is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree with minimum 50% and for SC/ST it is 45% from a recognized board. So if you fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria you can appear for CAT. It does not matter if you have failed in a subject in class 12 as long as you have passed in the subject later.

if we will give class 12 private and we have got good marks and we want to take admission in medical collage in madhya pradesh so we can take admission

Sharon Rose Student Expert 12th Jan, 2021

Hello,

Admission in to Medicine is based on merit in NEET UG. It is a mandatory exam for admission in to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses. The eligibility criteria to appear for NEET UG is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 50% marks in PCB subjects, for SC/ST /OBC it is 40%  and for PWD it is 45% marks in PCB. The minimum age must be 17 years as on December 31, 2021. There is no upper age limit as of now.

You will be eligible to appear for NEET UG eve if you have passed in 10+2 in private provided you must score the required percentage. Admission is solely based on merit in NEET. The marks scored in 10+2 are not given any weightage so you should aim to score the minimum percentage required to fulfill  the eligibility criteria.

hello, Im an MPC student currently studying in class 12. Ive always wanted to get into business and administration. I want to write CAT 2021 . How do i prepare for the exam?

Nive 2nd Dec, 2020

Hello, CAT 2021 is expected to be conducted in November 2021 and the registration will start in the month of august or September 2021.There is three sections and you can either study  2 subjects a day or study 3 subjects every 2 days. For VARC section reading economics, editorial  sections in the newspaper will greatly help you.For quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning RS Agarwal books are available for each sections separately. You should work out certain number of questions each day.Start solving previous year question papers and it will help increase your accuracy since there is negative marking for multiple choice questions.Due to this pandemic the time limit and number of questions are reduced to 2 hours but it may increase to the default three hours in the next year,so practice 3 hour question paper itself.start taking mock tests before 4 or 3 months and analyze which section you can improve on.For more information on CAT kindly visit this link https://bschool.careers360.com/exams/cat

Best of luck.

can u plz tell me the order to follow of calculus part in class 12 since I had not stated them yet. actually I was confused so plz tell me, can I follow ncert order given to calculus

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020

Hi

Yes, you need to follow the sequence or the order of the chapters under calculus as given in the NCERT because they are sequenced in proper way and if you don't follow that sequence you won't be able to move to the next chapter as one  chapter is linked to the other.

For example , without doing the chapter integrals you cannot move to application of  integrals

So you need to follow the given below sequence for calculus:-

  • Continuity and differentiability
  • Application of Derivative
  • Integrals
  • Application of integrals
  • Differential equation

Calculus carries the highest weightage in your board examination so Go well through Calculus and the calculus is not that easy, so you'll have to give it time and practice a lot

I hope that you find this helpful

Thankyou
