Hi.
It depends on how you want to become a scientist and under what field you wish to work for. To become a scientist you will need to clear all sorts of national level examinations. For example you can become an scientist in R&D after getting your B.Tech degree for that you need to crack JEE Mains with good rank OR you could be a scientist that work in the field of Biology then you need B.Sc and M.Sc biology or MBBS Degree if you will. Furthermore, to join IISER you can give their entrance exam or join through KVPY Examinations. There are lots of options, so i would suggest you to get a clear heading through a counsellor or an elder with genuine information in this matter then if you have a specific question then please feel free to comment.
BEST OF LUCK
When it comes to appearing for upsc exam, there is no restrictions or barriers in terms of belonging to any specific stream, now the thing is if you have any other choices other than this exam then as per your preference you may choose BSc or BTech, candidates from any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to appear for this exam, you need to be 21 years old and you can also apply even in the final year of graduation.
It primarily depends on what you wish to pursue in future. For instance, if you give JEE Mains, you will not be eligible to take admission in any IIT/NIT or GFTI because it requires minimum 75% in class 12th or 65% if you belong to SC/ST/OBC Category.
However, for NEET Examinations the bar is set at 60% for GEN and 50% for reserved category.
Incase you have a doubt, in any particular course or stream then please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck
Greetings,
There are certain areas where your 12th scores are useful and certain areas or fields where they are not so much. Let me give you a few examples:
- If you wish to go for DU admissions then yes, 12th marks are absolutely important.
- If you wish to go for national level under graduate exams - JEE, NEET, CLAT, etc. then a minimum of 50 or 60% (based on exam) is enough to get you the eligibility to appear in those exams.
What happens afterwards?
Again, it depends:
- If you finish you under graduation and aim for higher studies CAT, GRE, etc. then you need to keep in mind that the best business schools pay attention to your overall academic performance and so does the good universities abroad. Even if you score extraordinary marks in their entrance exams and get to the interview stage, chances are you may have to do some explaining if your scores are poor.
- If you go for other professional fields like government jobs (UPSC, etc.) then they do not care much about your past scores.
In short, your 12th scores will matter (with decreasing importance) at least till you do our masters or go for private sector jobs (not always though) you get plenty of chances to redeem yourself through your under graduate performances, entrance exam scores, other versatile talents, etc.
If you go for government sector jobs then no, they don't need to see your 12th scores and judge you for that.
it always is a confidence booster though.
hope i could give you some clarity,
The basic qualification required to join the BBA course in India is that you must have cleared 12th or HSC examination in order to get eligible for admission to the BBA program.
It is a three year undergraduate program. The minimum percentage required for admission varies from college to college.
So, if you have cleared your Class 12, then you are eligible for the admission in this course.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
