Candidates who meet the Cutoff requirements and are mentioned on the merit list of Jadavpur University will have to attend the counselling round on the specified date and venue.
Selected candidates will also have to report to the counselling venue on the specified date with all the requisite documents as mentioned in the merit list.
Candidates mentioned in the Cutoff of Jadavpur University 2019 will have to compulsorily attend the counselling round, else their seats will go to the next candidate.
Waitlisted candidates will be offered admissions only if a seat gets vacant and attend the counselling round.
The admissions of candidates is dependent on various factors like their fulfilment of eligibility criteria, verification of equivalence of marks/degrees from another boards/universities, any correction in the merit list of Jadavpur University. Therefore, admissions granted to candidates mentioned in Jadavpur University Cutoff 2019 or merit list will be provisional.
Those applicants for undergraduate courses who are unable to furnish complete results of their qualifying examination will not be offered admissions into the university.
Applicants for postgraduate courses who have yet not got their graduation result will have to furnish a certificate in a prescribed format stating that they have completed all their graduation exams before June 9, 2019. They should be able to submit their marksheet by September 14, 2019 and migration certificate within one year of admission.
Candidates enrolled in other undergraduate programmes in the current session will have to submit a withdrawal/cancellation certificate on or within seven days of admission. Candidates enrolled in other undergraduate courses in the previous sessions will have to submit a deregistering certificate. The same conditions will be applicable for students already enrolled in PG programmes but are applying for one in Jadavpur University.
Those who have completed their graduation in or before 2018 will have to submit an affidavit. This is applicable for students applying for PG programmes.
Those who have completed their 10+2 in or before 2018 will have to submit an affidavit. This is applicable for students applying for UG programmes.
Candidates who had written incorrect marks in the online application form will be revised. This will also lead to a revision of the merit list and Cutoff.
But revision/increase in candidates’ marks in qualifying examination by the concerned university will not be considered by Jadavpur University while preparing the Cutoffs or merit list.
Candidates mentioned on Jadavpur University 2019 Cutoff will not be sent separate intimations.
Candidates are allowed to take admissions in only one course.

B.ed. candidates under the deputy category
Teachers from secondary/ higher secondary schools affiliated to W.B.B.S.E/ W.B.C.H.S.E must be able to furnish (I) a copy of the appointment letter from the District Inspector of Schools (II) a No Objection Certificate issued from the Managing Committee of the school duly countersigned by the District Inspector of Schools. The Managing Committee must mention if the teacher teaches in class V to XII, at the time of interview and admission.

Mtech without GATE is a 3 year course while after GATE it is a 2 year course.
Almost every top company which goes to IIT came here with very few exception.
as far as placement are concerned you will be allowed to sit in each of these company. In most of the companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc, there is no percentage criteria.
So for placement in core companies you will have to be very good at coding + knowledge and it is not easy. but in an average company there will be 100% placement.

5 year integrated course in Jadavpur University is good. And if you want to take your gate exam then ofcourse you can if you are in 5 year integrated course at Jadavpur University. But you can apply only when you are in fourth year or higher during your course. Gate is a exam you can give lifetime.

Placements in jadavpur college are quite nice. Last year, almost 94% of job seekers got placed. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA. The average salary package offered was good, and it was around 8-9 LPA. Students of the third year get internships from the college itself.they do have a placement cell.

If I tell you about placements then I will that its very good .More than 85% of the students got placed, others went for MS mostly. Average package is above 6.5 LPA. Multiple offers are common thing. The department of mechanical engineering this year has got the highest package of 17 LPA, average is 7 LPA.
