B.Sc. degree in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany/Zoology, Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Nutrition (or) Home Science/Agricultural Science / Medicine with 50% of marks.

M.Sc. Biomedical Genetics


M.Sc. Biotechnology

M.Sc. Data Science

Under graduation in Mathematics/Computer, Science/ Business/ Commerce with 50% marks and should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in +2 and degree level.

M.Sc. Chemistry (with specialization in Analytical/Inorganic/Organic/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ General Chemistry)

B.Sc. degree in either Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Applied Science from any recognized university with Physics or Mathematics/B.Pharm (or) Biology/ Botany/Zoology as ancillary subjects with 50% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects)

M. Sc. Physics

B.Sc. degree from any recognized university with Physics / Applied Sciences with 50% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects)

Hello dear aspirant.

Yes with your current marks you are not eligible for JEE mains vitee WBJEE BITSAT etc examination. If you are going for NIOS on demand exam then it's better option but after result of on demand exam you can apply for them till then not. They all accept NIOS marksheet.

VIT college is one of the best engineering college in India and the forms of VITEEE 2020 are available online from 29th of September 2019 and the last date to fill the form will be 29th of February , 2020.

Last date to Edit Online Application    : Saturday, 29th February, 2020

Slot Booking    : Third week of March, 2020 (Tentative)

Examinations    : Second to Third week of April, 2020 (Tentative)

Counselling Dates    : Second or Third week of May, 2020(Tentative)

Eligibility for VIT :

Academic Qualification

  • Should have qualified 10+2 standard through CBSE, ICSE or any state board OR
  • The candidate should have attempted any pre-University examination or intermediate through recognized board or University OR
  • Should have a high school certification from Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva OR
  • Should possess General Certificate Education (GCE) from Cambridge/London/Sri Lanka with an advanced A level OR
  • The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) students can also apply OR
  • All candidates who have studied full time, regular and formal education will be eligible for VITEEE 2020.

Marks Required :

  • The candidates should have studied Maths/Biology, Chemistry and Physics for their 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination.
  • General category candidates should have secured 60% and above in Maths/Biology, Chemistry and Physics in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
  • For SC/ST candidates, the score to be secured is 50%.
  • Students belonging to the North-East states should have also secured 50% and above in all the subjects.

Year of Passing

The candidates should have completed their qualifying examination or should be appearing for it in 2020.

according to students review I would suggest you to go for VIT , as vit has excellent academic curriculum, it gives the freedom to student to select the additional subject every year as per their choices , also vit has lots of internship opportunities to final year students. amrita college of engineering does not have 100% placement, but in vit there is 100% placement record.
