SSC CGL 2014 Exam - SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination Tier 1 2014 which was scheduled to be held on April 27, 2014 and May 4, 2014 has been postponed due to General Elections for the 16th Lok Sabha in the month of April and May. As per the official notification released by Staff Selection Commission, Government of India the new date for the SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 exam will be announced in due course.
In addition to the SSC CGL 2014 Tier 1 exams, re-examination for CGLE 2013 has also been announced. Exams of candidates who have appeared in CGLE 2013 at Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun have also been postponed.

The Commission has already clarified that those candidates who appeared in SSC CGL Tier-I and Tier-II from a centre other than those mentioned above in SSC CGLE 2013 will not have to appear for re-examination. However, those candidates who appeared in SSC CGL Tier 1 from centres other than those mentioned above but appeared for SSC CGL Tier-II from the centres mentioned above will have to appear in re-examination in SSC CGL Tier-II.
Candidates who have appeared in SSC CGL Tier 1 from the centers mentioned above and cleared SSC CGL Tier 1 and appeared for SSC CGL Tier 2 examination from centres other than those mentioned above will be required to take only SSC CGL Tier 1 re-examination.
