Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has conducted JAM 2017 on February 12 in as many as 63 cities of India. The IIT Delhi administered Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes was held in two sessions at different time schedules– Session I between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon and Session II between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. While the first session was appeared by candidates for Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematics (MA) and Physics (PH) papers and the second session was appeared by Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematical Statistics (MS) papers. The JAM 2017 takers appeared for the postgraduate science entrance examination in computer-based (online) mode for three hours.
What was paper pattern of JAM 2017?
The online paper of JAM 2017 had as many as 60 questions in English language. The JAM paper carried 100 marks. The online JAM question paper was divided into three sections where the test-takers had to solve questions from each of the sections. Read more on JAM Paper Pattern 2017.

JAM also known as Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes is conducted annually by an IIT for admissions to as many as 1775 seats offered at 14 IITs. Moreover, there is an additional number of seats offered at IISc Bangalore. This year, IIT Jodhpur joined JAM committee.
