JAM 2017 Application Form: IIT Delhi opens registration window from September 2

JAM 2017 Application FormIIT-JAM 2017 Application Forms have begun from September 2, 2016. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has begun the online registration (application) window of Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. 2017 as many as three days prior to official schedule as it was to begin from September 5, 2016. Candidates applying for JAM 2017 need to register online through the official link of Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. programmes.

The last date for filling online application form for JAM 2017 is October 6, 2016. Candidates applying against the General and OBC categories seats need to pay Rs. 1500 as JAM 2017 application fee for each JAM paper and those applying under female, SC, ST and PwD categories need to pay Rs. 750. If applying for two test papers of JAM 2017, the General and OBC categories’ candidates need to pay Rs. 2100 and Rs. 1050, if the applicants belong to female, SC, ST and PwD.

IIT-JAM Application Form 2017 cannot be filled in any other mode as candidates need to have a valid e-mail id and a mobile number to generate online JAM registration/ enrolment id. While registering online for JAM, they also need to provide a password, which needs to be entered while they login for filling the online application form of Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2017.

Important points regarding JAM 2017 application process

  1. The entire application procedure of JAM 2017 is online, beginning from registration to filling applications to remitting the fees.

  2. The online application window of JAM 2017 is valid between September 2 and October 6, 2016.

  3. Candidates applying for the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. need to ensure the minimum eligibility conditions for JAM 2017 before filling the applications.

  4. Candidates should keep the scanned copies of photograph and signature in prescribed format at hand before filling the online JAM 2017 applications.

  5. Candidates if interested in appearing for another paper of second session of JAM 2017 need to pay an additional fee.

How to fill JAM 2017 application form?

IIT-JAM 2017 application is a six-step procedure as detailed below. Check the steps before filling the online application form of Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.

Step 1 – Online Registration – Candidates will have to click on ‘New User’ button to register for JAM 2017 application form.

Step 2 – Fill the online registration form – Candidates will have to fill necessary details of JAM 2017 registration form and click on ‘Submit’ button after reading the disclaimer.

Step 3 – Login for JAM applications 2017 – Candidates will then have to login for filling in the online application form of JAM 2017.

Step 4 – Fill online application form – Candidates will have to fill the fields of application form, upload photograph and signature before proceeding to fee payment window.

Step 5 – Fee payment – Candidates after submitting and reviewing the filled in JAM application will have to remit an application fee through online payment system involving credit card/debit card/net banking.

Step 6 – Print the filled application pdf – Once the fees has been paid, candidates will be able to take a print out of the filled-in application form of JAM 2017. Candidates are advised to keep safe the copy of this pdf for future correspondences.
