Candidates must log in to JOAPS to check if they have been allotted any seats and conform to the prescribed admission procedure the details of which are given below.   • Candidates have to log in to JOAPS and access the offer.

  • Candidates must note that the last date for the offer along with the payment of the Seat Booking Fee is June 8, 2016

  • They must download the offer letter and choose any one of the following options

    Accept and Freeze: this option is to accept the present offer and join the programme without any upgradation (if any)

    Accept with Upgrade: this option is to accept the present offer and wait for any upgrade to your their choices (if any) in further rounds

    Reject and Quit: This option is to not accept the offer and opt out of the JAM 2016 Admission process.

  • Candidates must confirm their option by entering the OTP sent to their mobiles.

  • After downloading the Response to the Admission Offer, candidates must sign and send the scan copy by email to [email protected].

  • Candidates who opt for the Accept ** decisions must complete payment of Seat-Booking Fee of 10000 (Rs 5000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Note there may be additional transaction charges

  • The seat will be confirmed only after payment is made.

  • Applicants who have accepted their admission offers must report to the allotted institute on the scheduled date given in the offer letter.

Points to Remember:

  • Candidates who have accepted the admission offer but wish to withdraw can do so by logging into JOAPS and selecting the Withdraw option. After entering the OTP, candidates will be withdrawn and not considered in the JAM 2016 admission process any more. Candidates must withdraw by June 25, 2016 to avail the refund amount if paid of the admission fee after deduction of Rs 1000

  • Applicants who do not withdraw or join the allotted institute by the given date will forfeit their seat and the Seat Booking Fee of Rs 10000

  • Candidates who will be allotted a seat in further rounds which is the upgraded offer, their earlier offer will no longer be valid.

  • Candidates who get the ugraded offers in the other later rounds must also exercise the option of accepting or withdrawing as per their preference failing which they forfeit their seat and will not be considered in the admission process.
