IIT Delhi announces JAM 2017 Results on March 24

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, the exam conducting authority for JAM 2017 has declared results of Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) on March 24, 2017 in online mode. The results of JAM 2017 have been announced three days in advance to earlier scheduled date which was March 27, 2017. Candidates who have qualified JAM 2017 can check their qualifying status and download score card by login through enrollment Id and password.

The result of JAM 2017 mentions qualifying status, marks, rank obtained by candidates as well as minimum qualifying marks required for the test subject. Candidates who have qualified the admission test need to register for JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) for admission to various programmes offered on basis of JAM score 2017.   1. Click on link of JAM Result 2017 (as provided below)

  2. Login with enrollment Id/ registered email Id and password

  3. Enter the security code and click on ‘submit’ button

  4. The result of JAM 2017 is displayed on screen mentioning candidates name, registration number, test paper code, marks obtained, All India Rank as well as qualifying marks and instructions for candidates.

  5. Candidates who have obtained more than or equal to marks as per qualifying marks for each category are declared qualified for JAM 2017

Note: Candidates can also recover password/Enrollment Id for their registered account in case they have forgotten it by clicking on ‘Forgot Enrollment ID or Password’ button

 

The candidates who have qualified JAM after announcement of JAM 2017 result are eligible to apply for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) for academic year. The participating Institutes of JAM 2017 will be admitting candidates on basis of cutoff of JAM and rank obtained by candidates. The cutoff for JAM 2017 after announcement of results has been determined for each category for each subject as under -

What Next after JAM 2017 Result?

  • Candidates who have qualified JAM 2017 will be allowed to submit their admission form for any of the programme offered at IITs and IISc.

  • Candidates can apply for one or more programme based on their test subject for which they have qualified JAM 2017.

  • The candidates can apply in online mode only through JOAPS which will be open from April 12, 2017 at 10:00 am to April 25, 2017 till 5:00 pm.

  • Candidates need not send any hard copy of application form or documents at the official address.

i want to apply for JAM exam but why the exam date period is very less to apply

IIT JAM exam form for registration was released on 5th September and last date for registration was 12th October. I am sorry to say but there is no possibility to apply for the exam after the last date of registration. Correction window will be open in first week of November.

let me clear your doubt.

Yes you can give jam exam aftee completing your bsc. And here is the eligibility criteria for jam exam

A canditate after completing their bachelor degree are eligible for jam exam

A candidate belonging to general /obc (non creamy layer) should have atleast 55 percent aggregate marks ,without rounding off.

And those who belong to sc st should have at least 50 percent aggregate marks, without rounding off.
