DU revises admission dates; St. Stephen’s announces first cutoff

DU revises admission datesUniversity of Delhi has revised dates for DU 2016 admission including announcement of cutoff for admission to different affiliated colleges. The varsity has extended application date by three more days. The last date for applications would be June 22, 2016 now. Earlier, the last date was June 19. Further, the first cutoff for DU 2016 admission will now be announced on June 30 and not on June 27 as notified earlier. However, St. Stephen’s College, one of the colleges affiliated to Delhi University with the minority status has announced it first cutoff on June 18, 2016.

DU Admission Revised Dates

As per the revised dates of DU 2016 admission, aspirants can now fill DU 2016 online registration-cum-application form till June 22, 2016 (by 5:00 pm) and deposit application fees by midnight of 22nd of June. Earlier, the last date for filling application was June 19, 2016.

Moreover, while the first cutoff for DU Admission 2016 was to be announced on June 27, but now after revision of the dates, the same will be announced on June 30, 2016 by 9:00 am. Consecutively, the second, third, fourth and fifth cutoff announcement dates have been rescheduled to July 5, July 11, July 15 and July 20, 2016, respectively.

St. Stephen’s First Cutoff 2016

As per the first cutoff announced by St. Stephen’s College, applicants from the general category with Commerce subjects in Class 12th need as much as 99 per cent for admissions to BA (H) English, which is apparently the highest cutoff among all the courses for admissions in the DU College. Moreover, the general category candidates with Science subjects in Class 12th need to secure at least 98 per cent for admissions to BA (H) English course in the college. For those having Commerce in Class 12th, need a cutoff of 97.5 per cent for admissions in the course.

 

St. Stephen’s College has marked its first cutoff at 95.33 per cent for admissions in B.Sc programme (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) for the general category candidates, whereas those seeking admissions in B.Sc programme (Maths, Physics and Computer Science) need to secure at least 96.33 per cent in their Class 12th boards.
