DU receives 21813 offline applications on first day

Delhi University began its offline applications from June 5 in eight facilitation centres of the city, where as many as 21813 DU aspirants purchased the application forms and 5111 duly filled in applications were submitted. Meanwhile, the online applications till 5 pm of June 5 reached a number of 235728, of which a total number of 141590 applications were received by the University along with submission of fees.

This year, University of Delhi had decided to open the application windows of both modes – online and offline on different dates so as to promote the online method. Dr. Malay Neerav, Joint Dean Student Welfare said, “We have provided a 20-day window for online and 10 day-window for offline applications beginning from May 28 and June 5, respectively, so as to promote the online applications as it’s more convenient and student friendly.”

Last year, the total number of applications for the undergraduate programmes was 279700, where on the first day as many as 32460 applications were received of which 3129 applications were received on the same day.

The eight Admission centres for receiving and submitting the duly filled in offline applications between the scheduled dates – June 5 – June 15, 2015. They are as follows –

You can also submit 2015 Admission Form of DU at these information centres. The last date for submitting applications completed in all forms is June 15 for both the online as well as offline modes.

sir , can I take admission in DU stream of English honours ,on the basis of entrance examination

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that admission in DU for B.A English Honours is done on the basis of merit score. The cutoffs will be released in the month of June-July. You need to have English as a subject in your 12th standard. Also, you need include English in your best 4 subjects while considering your percentage.

Did du have a relative marking scheme?

Yes Delhi university have a choice based credit system for relative marking scheme,its different and a rectified form of relative marking scheme,as there were many problems with relative marking scheme.you had to score a perfect 100 to get a O grade known as outstanding.

How many seats for the hostel is available in du for LLB and what is the fees? What is the basis and process DU follow for seat allocation?

Hi dear hope you are doing well rank of 50 is safe for getting hostel in DU for LLB course in general categories but if your rank is between hundred and 200 and you must try. The cut off rank for getting hostels in in LLB in DU for womens turns to 500.
The fee structure for hostel for one semester is around 5000

For getting admission in DU in mass communication admission criteria of du is through the boards percentage the cutoff of mass communication in DU is very high so you must score excellent marks in class 12 irrespective of stream that is science commerce and arts then you are to apply for mass communication and I cut off list will be declared and if you get shortlisted then they will call you for an interview if you clear the interview you get admitted to to the best colleges of du for mass communication.
