The DU Open Days continued to be houseful on the third day at South Campus with undergraduate applicants and their parents asking details of the new admission procedure. The officials first collected students' query in written and then replied to them one by one.

The Open Days discussion is conducted under hourly sessions where the University appointed officials explain queried related to different aspect of DU admissions including details on subjects, courses, application process, key dates and basic information via a presentation.
The Open Days which started on May 21, 2014 is being conducted in a 10-day window scheduled to end on 30, 2014 at two centres- Conference Centre in North Delhi and SP Jain Centre-South Delhi, from 10a.m to 1p.m.The DU Open Days Schedule is mentioned in the box below.

The Open Days session scheduled by Delhi University is a platform for under graduate applicants to get information related to the admission procedure, dates, and reservations of the University.
Besides providing information to students regarding the entire DU Admission Procedure, DU Admission Eligibility Criteria, DU Important Dates, or the newly introduced Uniform Eligibility Criteria, Open Days are also a platform forstudents to talk to other university students.
Delhi university offers a total of 50 courses to be taught in eight semesters of the 4YUP. These 50 courses comprise Foundation Courses, Discipline Courses (I), Discipline Courses (II), Applied Courses and Cultural Activities.
Students have to study 12 papers in Foundation Course, 20 in Discipline Courses (I), six in Discipline Courses (II), four in Applied Courses and eight in Cultural Activities.
One of the largest universities of India, DU has nearly 1,32,435 regular students (UG-1,14,494 and PG-17,941) and 2,61,169 students (UG-2,58,831 and PG-2,338) in School of Open Learning education programme.
