Much awaited Delhi University (DU) admission first cutoff is expected to be announced on June 24 midnight even as more than 2.9 lakh applicants eagerly wait for admission opportunities in 55 undergraduate courses under 77 colleges of the central university for the academic session 2015.The cutoff this year is might slightly go up as compared to the last year, experts suggest. The colleges affiliated to the Central University will be announcing the cutoff on their college notice boards on June 25 at 9:00 am.
As per the DU officials, as many as 291817 candidates have successfully applied for around 54000 undergraduate seats in various courses of the University. BA (H) English has continued to be the most preferred course with as many as 90331 applications, followed by B.Com and B.Com (H) courses with 71505 and 68866 applications, respectively. Moreover, B.Sc (H) Chemistry, B.Sc (H) Mathematics and BA (H) Economics stood the fourth, fifth and sixth preferred courses, respectively with 66987, 66586 and 63264 applications, respectively.
Moreover, as per the official data, majority of the candidates belong to CBSE with 218872 applications made by the Central Board students. The state board of Rajasthan and Bihar came 2nd and third by the volume of applicants with 26693 and 12705 candidates respectively.
DU Officials and Principals of a few colleges expect cutoff for the preferred courses including BA (H) English, B.Com, B.Com (H), BA (H) Economics and B.Sc (H) Computer Science to go slightly higher this year. The increase in number of applications can be one of the key reasons for this.

The University has 16 faculties and 86 departments spread over North and South campuses in the National Capital. The Central University has 83 affiliated colleges with around 150000 students in regular programmes and about 250000 students enrolled in its other programmes.

Delhi University offers Bachelor’s in Management Studies (BMS) instead of BBA program. BMS is a 3-year undergraduate degree which will allow you to gain knowledge of business practices and processes, and acquire knowledge of global business issues.
Mathematics is mandatory subject to pursue BMS program from Delhi University.
So if you do not have Mathematics in class 12th, you are not be eligible to write DU JAT examination.
However, if you wish to pursue a management related course at your under graduation level then you can look at other institutes that offer BBA program. I am listing the names of few colleges. Please note these are not an exhaustive list:

There are various private colleges as well from where you can pursue BBA such as SP Jain School of Global Management, Mumbai, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, Bennett University, etc.
Going by the past trends, the cutoff for DBE was 90 percentile in 2015 and 2016 and it can raise till upto 93 percentile. The exact cutoff would be declared on their website once the CAT results are out. Although with your score and expected percentile if 93- 95, you can easily get a call from them.
