NIT Rourkela has announced the CCMN 2016 Seat Allotment Round 2 at 1 pm on June 22, 2016. Candidates who have qualified in JAM 2016 and applied for the CCMN 2016 for the M.Sc admissions at the NITs can log in to check their Seat Allotment. Check the details below on this page.

The Permanent Identifier (PID) and the password have to be entered by the candidates to access their seat allotment for CCMN 2016.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must pay the fees accordingly.
Candidates who have been allotted an upgraded choice of seat and have paid Rs 7000 as part payment earlier must complete their admission process by paying the balance fee through SB Collect/ NEFT before June 24, 2016
Candidates who have been allotted seats afresh must pay the full institute fee and complete the admission process by June 24, 2016.
Candidates who wish to surrender their seats must follow the surrender process and surrender their seats by July 6, 2016.
The final upgradation will be announced on July 7, 2016. Candidates must check the CCMN 2016 upgradation and pay any balance fee if required to confirm their seats and attend the classes.
The Provisional Allotment letter will be available from July 11, 2016 onwards for candidates who have paid their complete fees.
Candidates must report at the allotted colleges with the Provisional Allotment Letter to report and start their classes on the specified dates
National Spot Round: Candidates who have not been allotted seats must wait for the National Spot Round to be announced on July 15, 2016

Preparing the syllabus given in the IIT JAM exam for biotechnology is enough to crack the JAM exam. If you study the whole biology as a syllabus, you can attend most of the exams conducted in life sciences field for the higher studies and jobs. In JAM exam they will check your critical thinking and your subject knowledge depth. So prepare well.

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree . Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must have at least 55% aggregate in Bachelor’s. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.
So you obviously appears for the IIT JAM.

Yes you can still apply for your M.Sc degree. Because still you have one semester remaining. JAM application, TIFR application portals may get closed, but you can apply for upcoming notifications regarding admission. Universities call for admission, colleges also nearly in the month of March. So be ready to apply for them.
