The University of Kashmir will be hosting a three day educational exhibition and student-university meet organised by KW Media under its publication The Kashmir Walla on 11 April – 13 April at its campus. The education fair is for college students who wish to apply in colleges and universities outside the state for their Higher and Professional education.
According to the organisers, the three-day event will host over 50 top universities, colleges and academic institutions. The exhibition will include a series of seminars, mini-events, and one-on-one career counselling sessions.
The education expo is expected to bring insights among students and parents about admission opportunities into other state universities. Representatives from differen academic institutions will be sharing information on their admission process, timeline and application proceedure during the event. The students will also have opportunity to seek information from the participating educational institutions through special question-answer sessions.
The event is organized by KW Media in collaboration with Kashmir University.
According to the organisers, the Kashmir Education Fair 2015 has following objectives,
To educate the public, particularly students and parents, about career opportunities.
To provide room for institutional representatives to share knowledge and thoughts on higher education with the prospective students.
To help students know educational choices available for them in order to make informed decisions in planning further education.
To provide a bridge for direct interaction and knowledge-sharing between currentstudents and their parents with representatives of academic institutions.
To enhance educational ties between universities and colleges from other states and education bodies.
The event will consist of three components:
1. Educational Exhibition
2. Seminar Series and Student Counseling sessions
3. Other Mini Events
