Some top Recruiters in Previous Year’s UPES Placements
Every year, a host of organisations come to recruit students from UPES. Here are a few top recruiters in UPES placements 2018:
Initiatives taken to better UPES Placements
UPES has initiatives which strive to train students to become employable and ready to take jobs. Some of these steps are:
Industry-academic collaborations: UPES has partnered with companies like IBM, Accenture, Maruti, Aditya Birla, Infosys Carbon Black, Xebia, Bombay Stock Exchange Institute, Infosys and much more. These industry-academic collaborations make sure the student is trained in a way that they are responsible and employable which helps in snappy placements.
Personality Enhancement and Professional Assessment: To make the students employable and train them to be responsible persons, UPES has built certain means to promote the multi-dimensional and holistic growth of students. Some of these means include personality enhancement programmes managed by trained instructors from Dale Carnegie Training and Systematic Professional Assessment. These professional assessments programmes will help companies evaluate the student on desired workplace competencies such as analysing and problem-solving, working well with others, adapting to change etc, in place of just fixating on the academic scores.
Faculty Internship: There are several four to six weeks internships in business workplaces so that students and faculty can correlate theory with practical application, thus, making teaching relevant to the industry and augmenting the realism of the classroom course.

This depends on the State that they belong to. For example, Indian Christians belong to OC Category and Adi-Andhra Christians belong to BC-C. But in Tamilnadu Christians fall under General Category. So if you have a State in mind, please do let us know and we shall help you with the Category these two groups fall under.
see there is no individual semester marks criteria is not mentioned in any of psus notification past years. for 2020 recruitment many of the psus recruitment is yet to come. so dont worry, most of the psus needs aggregate of 60% marks in b.tech.
hope it would help.
AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped off in favour of NEET and not the other way round. So it is unlikely that NTA will change NEET's exam pattern. May be AIIMS and JIPMER will conduct theri separate admission process by conducting further rounds but NEET will not have a changed exam pattern. This is because AIIMS has approximately 1500 seats and JIPMER 200 seats. But across India, almost 90,000 MBBS seats also are filled through NEET. So bringing in a change for 1700 odd seats is unlikely. As of now, NEET has 180 questions in the form of MCQs. Physics and Chemistry have 45 questions each and Biology has 90 questions. Every correct answer gives you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.
It might be some misunderstanding with you. Yes you are right. AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped from this year and all of them come under single entrance exam that is NEET 2020. so you just have to fill the application form for neet and that's it which will commence from 2nd of December up-to 31st of December 2019. The neet exam will be held on 3rd of May, 2020.
Best wishes. Thank you.
