St. Stephen’s Cutoff go higher; Economics cutoff reaches 98.50, up by 0.50
St. Stephen’s College continues to be the tough nut to crack with the cutoff percentage for its coveted Economics and English disciplines going slightly higher for admission year 2015. Compared to last year, the cut-off for Economics and English disciplines are higher by 0.50% and 1% respectively for the commerce background aspirants. Further, there is an increase of as much as 5 % in the cutoff for B.Sc in Computer Science.
The cutoff list for admissions to 11 undergraduate programmes was declared late night on June 16. Applicants who seek admissions in BA programme and have qualified 10+2 examination in Science and Humanities subjects, will need to have at least 96% as best of four subject aggregate, while those from commerce background will need 0.50% marks than the other streams.
Those who have qualified 10+2 with Commerce subjects need to have 98.50% along with a minimum of 90% in Maths for admission to Economics. Those who have passed 10+2 with Humanities subjects will need an aggregate of 97% along with a minimum of 90%in Maths for this coveted discipline in the college. Aspirants from Science discipline will need 97.50% in aggregate of four best subjects to qualify for admission to Economics. Those aspiring for B.Sc programme in Computer Science need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Computer Science in 10+2 qualifying examination and 97% in aggregate of the four best subjects.

Delhi university is expected to release the DU application form on June 8 (10 am) in online mode at its official website i.e du.ac.in. but as of now it has not been announced officially
The last date of filling DU application form and submitting it is expected to be June 30.

The University of Delhi B.Ed. entrance exam comprises of 100 MCQs divided into 3 sections of 2 hours duration. You can prepare for the reasoning and general awareness and language proficiency section by any good competitive preparation book. For subject knowledge, you should prefer NCERT books. Overall, the B.Ed. entrance examination guide by Arihant Publishing will work.
The eligibility is to have a Bachelor’s Degree from the Delhi University or equivalent university with at least 50% marks in any two subjects out of 200 at their graduation level.
