SAAT 2020 - Siksha O Anusandhan University will start the SAAT 2020 admission process from the first week of December 2020. The mode of application will be only online. The university offers admission to various UG and PG programmes in the field of agriculture, law, pharmacy, engineering, management, hotel management and nursing through SAAT 2020.Interested candidates can fill the application form until the last week of May 2020. generally allocate five slots of application window based on different programmes. Hence, the last date of SAAT 2020 registration will vary depending upon the programmes and slot. Candidates who will fill and submit the SAAT 2020 application form can download the admit card from the second week of April 2020. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test will be held in both offline and online mode. There will be total 28 offline and 40 online exam centres of SAAT 2020 around the different cities of the country. After the commencement of examination, the result and rank card of SAAT 2020 will be released in the first week of May 2020. The final admission is done after the choice filling, seat allotment and document verification round of SAAT 2020 counselling.

SAAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for admissions in various UG and PG programmes offered by the university can check the eligibility criteria of SAAT 2020. Candidates are advised to check SAAT 2020 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. SAAT eligibility criteria 2020 for different UG and PG programmes as per the subject of their choice is given below.

  • Applicants must have completed their 10+2 examination with at least 50 percent marks aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PH categories must have secured a minimum of 40 percent marks aggregate with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination.
  • The age limit to apply is 17 year as of 31.12.2019.
B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)
  • Applicants must have completed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)
  • Candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC must have secured a minimum of 40 percent marks aggregate
  • The age limit to apply is 17 years minimum as of 31.12.2019.
M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Nano Science & Nano Technology / Medicinal & Aromatic Plants / Molecular Biology)
  • Applicants must have finished or should be in the final year of their Bachelor degree in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Science/ Engineering & Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) / Physics (Honours) / Chemistry (Honours) / Mathematics (Honours) or equivalent from any recognized University with a minimum of 50 percent marks (Unreserved/General category)
  • Candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC category should have a minimum of 45 percent
M.Sc. (Chemical Biology & Drug Design)
  • Candidates must have completed their B.Sc. with Chemistry (Honours) / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with a minimum of 50 percent marks (General category)
  • Candidates from the unreserved category must have scored 45 percent marks.
M.Sc. (Agriculture)
  • Applicants must have completed their B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc.(Horticulture) from any recognized University by State and Central Government
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of OGPA 6.5 and GPA 7.0 in concerned discipline out of 10 points.
  • SC/ST/ PH candidates should have a OGPA 5.5 and GPA 6.0 out of 10.
  • Minimum age limit for candidates who wish to apply is 21 year as on 31.07.2019.

SAAT 2020 Application Form

The application form of SAAT 2020 will be made available from the first week of December 2020. All applicants are required to submit SAAT 2020 application form before the second week of May 2020. No application form after the application window and with incomplete details will be accepted. Before filling SAAT application form 2020, candidates are required to keep a scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature. There is no application fee for SAAT 2020. Candidates who wish to fill and submit SAAT 2020 application form must check the steps given below to complete their candidature.

Steps to Fill SAAT Application Form

Step 1 - Registration

  • Click on the official link (the link will be activated as soon as the application form will be released)
  • To start with the registration, enter the name, email ID and mobile number.
  • After successful candidates will receive an OTP (One Time Password) to the mobile number given. Enter the OTP given to complete the verification procedure.

Step 2 - Filling up the Application Form

  • The SAAT login will be created after the verification is complete. Candidate can now login to the portal and fill up the application form.
  • Enter their personal details, academic details and the course and exam details in the application forms of SAAT 2020.
  • After successfully completing the application forms candidates will receive a confirmation of the application form submission on their registered email-ID.
  • Download and take a printout of the filled SAAT 2020 application and preserve it for future references.

SAAT 2020 Exam Centres

Candidates can check their SAAT 2020 exam centres in the admit card. Candidates will get an option to choose the exam centres of SAAT 2020 while filling out the application form. SAAT 2020 will be conducted in both offline and online mode. There are total 28 offline and 40 online SAAT exam centres around different cities of the country. Candidates must note that no request for change of exam centre will be entertained.

SAAT 2020 Admit Card

The admit card of SAAT 2020 will be available from the second week of April 2020. Candidates can download SAAT 2020 admit card by visiting the official website of the university. Candidates need to log in to their individual accounts using their username and password. Candidates must carry SAAT admit card 2020 along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. No candidates will be allowed to sit in the entrance examination without the hall ticket of SAAT 2020. Candidates must make sure to keep their SAAT 2020 admit card in hand until the final admission procedures are completed.

SAAT 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

  • The entrance exam of SAAT 2020 will be held in different centres as per the schedule.
  • The Exam hall will be opened for candidates half an hour before the commencement of the examination. Candidates must note that no late comers would be entertained.
  • It must be noted that no belongings such as mobile phones, pagers, palm tops, bluetooth devices or electronic devices are allowed inside the examination hall.
  • The medium of examination will be English only.
  • Candidates are expected to carry their SAAT 2020 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.
  • Candidates will be directed to their respective seats 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  • A sheet will be provided for the rough to be done during the examination.
  • Candidates will have to sign their complete signature in the Attendance Roll sheet given by the Director (Admissions)
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall until the examination is complete.

SAAT 2020 Exam Pattern

The aptitude test of SAAT 2020 will be conducted in both offline and online mode depending upon the preference of candidates. As per the exam pattern of SAAT 2020, candidates will be given four options for a question. He/ she needs to select the most appropriate response. The offline exam of SAAT 2020 will be held in the third week of April, 2020. The computer based aptitude test will be held in five different slots from second week of April to the first week of May 2020. SAAT 2020 exam pattern will mention the number of questions asked in examination, duration and marking scheme of the examination.

SAAT 2020 Result

Siksha O Anusandhan University will announce the result of SAAT 2020 in the first week of May 2020. Along with the declaration of results, the university will also start releasing the rank card of SAAT 2020 based on their performance in the aptitude test. Candidates who will appear in the entrance test can check their SAAT 2020 result by using their login credentials. The university will release the SAAT 2020 rank card depending upon the slots of admission test. The merit list which will be released after the results are declared will be based on the score of the candidates in the SAAT 2020 entrance examination. SAAT 2020 Merit List

The merit list of SAAT 2020 will be formed depending upon the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. On the basis of the position of candidates in the SAAT 2020 merit list they will be invited for the rounds of counselling. The university will also release a separate merit list of SAAT 2020 depending upon their categories. The qualified candidates will also be able to download the rank card of SAAT 2020.

  • The SAAT merit list 2020 for B.Tech aspirants will be made depending upon their marks in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the admission test.

  • For the candidates seeking admission in Bachelor’s programme of Pharmacy and Agriculture, the merit list of SAAT 2020 will be made based on their marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.

The candidates willing to take admission in B.Tech programs will get an option for choice filling. SAAT 2020 Reservations

The university offers the seats to the reserved category candidates based on the SAAT 2020 reservation policy. They need to produce the reserved category certificate at the time of admission. If the eligible candidate belonging to the reserved category is not available, the seats are filled by the candidate belonging to the general category. Candidates belonging to the OBC category will get a mark relaxation. However, no seats are reserved for them as per the SAAT 2020 reservation criteria.

Aspirants should have passed class XII/12th or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of these subjects: Chemistry/Information Technology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Informatics/Biology/Statistics or any other subject.

Aspirants must have secured 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam with the above mentioned subject combination.
