Delhi University released the second cutoff on July 3 late night with cutoff for top UG Programmes including Economics (H), English (H) and B.Com (H) at many colleges still ranging between 95-99 per cent.
As many as 44 colleges of the total 54 colleges which offer B.Com (H) in the central university released their cutoff for second round of admissions which shall take place from July 4 to July 6, 2014.
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) second cutoff is 99% for B.Com (H) programme as compared to the first cutoff of 99.25 %. The Hindu College second cutoff is a bit higher at 99.5% for the programme in the second cutoff list.
Second Cutoff shows a Dip –
Second cutoff for another sought after UG programme, Economics (H) was released for 47 colleges out of total 56 colleges offering the programme. While SRCC cutoff was 95.75 for Economics (H), Hindu cutoff offered admission to the candidates having best of four marks at 98.75. The second cutoff for the general category for the programme at SRCC has witnessed a fall of 0.25% in comparison to first cutoff released on June 30.
Colleges like Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam College (ARSD) which had a first cutoff at 100%for B.Sc Computer Science programme has lowered the cutoff by just one percent in the second list. Similarly, IP College for Women has also kept the cutoff for the programme as high as 99%.
Admissions Closed in Several DU Colleges –
However, several other sought after colleges like Ramjas and Kamla Nehru College have closed their admissions for courses like History (H). The candidates who have applied for the course may now try their luck in colleges like Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram College and Hansraj.
As many as eight of the 45 colleges which offer B.Sc Mathematics (H) programme have closed their admission process for the UG 2014 Admissions. These colleges include the coveted one like, Deshbandhu College, Hindu College, Kalindi College, Maitreyi College, PGDAV College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Shivaji College and Sri Venkateshwara College.

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.
Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:
If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:
