Every college has something unique about it. A USP as such called is what attracts students to take admission in any particular college. With Delhi University admission, comes opportunity to start your search for the most suitable college.

Selecting a college in Delhi University is a roller coaster ride. You think hard; make judgments upon the basis of few parameters, or even run across colleges to find the most suitable institution to study in. The search for your college ends with Delhi University Kalindi College.

Kalindi College is an institution of academic excellence and achievement which aims at providing a promising future to all. Just as we entered the secured premises of the college, the positive ambience and vibrant atmosphere surrounded us. The USP, Academics and Kalindi!

The bond between Academics and Kalindi is such that they are connected in a way that can never be separated. Kalindi College is strict and disciplined about its education and classes for the students. When it comes to academics, every teacher including the principal make sure that each student attends the classes. Not only this, even the teachers emphasize upon the quality of education and practical exposure of the students. Phew! Definitely education is the only priority here!

We interacted with the Principal of Kalindi College, Dr. Anula Maurya, and asked her why the fresh Delhi University UG aspirants opt for Kalindi College? A fine lady with positive attitude, very calmly replied, “Because our focus is academics and total involvement of the students in every activity of the campus”.

The so called funda of Kalindi College, Delhi University’s total involvement is a perfect method for an overall development of the girls in this college.

Kalindi-College-1Theme Park is waiting for you…

We saw the gardens in the process of being embellished. New trees were being planted, flowers around the corners, and elegant Buddha inspired sculptures are the center of the attraction. Kalindi College is in a full force to enhance its campus and infrastructure to welcome the new students. The latest and interesting spot at the college is the newly finished ‘Theme Park’. The reason it’s called as a theme park is because of its ambience that makes you feel as if you are sitting in some park. A hut, lush green blades of grass, mushroom shaped sheds, cafeteria nearby, Buddha sculptures around, Ah! Indeed a park to look forward to.

Situated just behind the main academic block, this park is a relief from the academics and a great place to hang out and share the gossips.

Kalindi-College-2Placements and Clubs are active as quicksilver!

The important placements and clubs in a college is something we should not explain. C’mon we all have been to college and experience the importance of getting a good placement, right!

At Kalindi College you must never worry about placements. The placement cell, under the students union is very active, and is never short of companies scheduling their visits to the campus.

Even the Dance, Fashion, Hindi, Debate clubs are all active. Students along with their proctor teachers plan events that force them to take initiative to participate in activities besides academics. It is important for each Kalindi girl to be a member of at least one club. Even the college is lenient enough to give one activity class on Wednesdays for student’s to practice for their clubs.

If you haven’t scored a high marks in your Class XII Board exam, you must not worry about the high Delhi University cutoff, as there is an option for you to have quality education from Delhi University Kalindi College.  As even it is off campus, Life at Kalindi is fun both academically and non-academically.

If I want to get admission in BSC honours in mathematics in Delhi University on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th , then what all subjects can I register for the calculation of percentage to be written in Merit list ? Can I register with Mathematics, computer and chemistry ?

Apurv 16th Oct, 2019

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.
