JNU Result 2020 - National Test Agency will announce the JNU 2020 result on May 31 at nta.ac.in, which is their official website. The candidates who will appear in the online examination will get the facility to check their result of JNU 2020 by entering their login credentials. The JNU result 2020 contains details such as marks and the qualifying status of the candidates who appeared in the online examination for JNU admission 2020. The JNU result 2020 will be declared on May 31 in online mode. The result will be released in the form of a JNU scorecard. Checking the results online on the official website can be a little tricky as the candidates are not acquainted with the whole website. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to follow the steps to check the JNU 2020 result which are given below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA.
Step 2: To check the JNU entrance exam result 2020, candidates can either click on ‘Search by Application Number’ or ‘Search by Registration Number’.
Step 3: A drop-down will appear where candidates have to select the ‘Programme of Study’ from the menu provided.
Step 4: Choose the ‘field of study’.
Step 5: Enter the Application and/or Registration Number.
Step 6: Click on ‘Search’.
The result showing the marks and ranks scored by the candidate will appear in a new tab.

National Testing Agency has introduced a process of standardizing procedure on the basis of percentile score in order to maintain equivalence among various question papers and the difficulty level of question paper in each session.The score obtained by the candidates, after considering the relative performance of all examinees, who will appear in the examination for each session is the NTA score. JNU 2020 result shows the percentage of candidates who have scored equal or below to a pre-set percentile in the entrance exam of JNU. The marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session comprises of NTA score. Then the merit lists carrying the rank of the candidates are made on the basis of percentile score of JNUEE result 2020.
Step 1 - Raw Score Calculation
The initial score of JNU Result 2020 is calculated on the basis of normal marking scheme of the examination. For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 4 marks, whereas for every incorrect answer one mark is deducted.
Step 2 - Conversion of Raw Score into NTA Score
NTA score = 100*Number of candidates appeared in the exam with the initial score equal or less than the candidate/ Total number of candidates appeared in the exam.
National Test Agency will release the JNU 2020 Answer Key in online mode in the second week of June 2020. Beforreleasing the final answer key, the agency will release the provisional one. The candidates will be given a facility to raise an objection against the provisional JNU answer key 2020 before the limited time period that will be notified by the agency. It must also be noted that the candidates will have to pay an extra Rs. 1000 for raising the objection. The final answer key of JNU 2020 will be released by NTA is the objections raised by the candidates are found valid. Candidates can also check their recorded responses before the declaration of result.
Candidates will have to download the scorecard of JNU 2020 in online mode. NTA will release the result in the form of a JNU 2020 scorecard. The scorecards will be released for both the UG and PG programmes. Candidates are suggested to download and keep multiple copies of their scorecards of JNU 2020 for further admission procedures including counselling, interview, etc.

NTA will release the JNU 2020 merit list after it has declared the result in online mode. The result of JNU 2020 contains the name of the candidates who are shortlisted for further admission procedure. The selected candidates have to register for the remaining admission procedure. If the candidates miss out the JNU admission procedure after the declaration of merit list, they will be made to forfeit his or her seat. The JNU merit list 2020 differs as per the categories of the candidates.

JNU score include the marks obtained by the candidates on the basis of general marking scheme, according to the JNU’s marking scheme. Whereas, NTA Score is the percentile score obtained by the candidate in JNU result after the process of normalization by the agency.

Admission to MA Politics with International Studies will take place through JNUEE.
JNU will hold its entrance test JNUEE for admission of various UG and PG courses in online mode from 11th May to 14th May, 2020.
