JNU Exam Pattern 2020 – Jawaharlal Nehru University releases the JNU 2020 exam pattern for the candidates aspiring to get admission across the UG and PG programmes of JNU. The JNU exam pattern 2020 comprises of information about several aspects of the exam including mode of exam, number of questions, time duration, sections, etc. By knowing the exam pattern of JNUEE and JNUCEEB, it will be easy for the candidates to grasp the overall type and nature of the exam. Note: As the NTA has taken over as the official exam conducting body for JNU since 2019, it has been conducted in online or computer-based mode. JNU Exam Pattern 2020 – B.A. Programme

  • Candidates have to answer a total of 100 objective type questions for B.A. programme.

  • The paper has been divided into two sections.

  • The first section contains objective type questions from Reasoning, English Grammar, Comprehension, Language for 50 marks.

  • Second section has descriptive type questions for 50 marks

  • The paper has to be completed in three hours

JNU Exam Pattern 2020 for M.A Programme

  • The questions in paper for M.A Programme are based on microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematics and statistics, International trade, public economics and economic development.

  • The paper will have 100 objective and subjective type questions.

  • For this paper, negative marking is applicable.

JNUEE Entrance Pattern 2020 – M.A in Language, Literature and Culture Studies

  • M.A Language, Literature and Culture Studies test pattern for JNU 2020 contains 100 objective type questions, covering topics from Language, grammar, translations, short essays and society, culture and literature of language origin country.

JNU MSc. Exam Pattern 2020

  • For this paper, candidates need to answer 100 objective type questions.

  • JNU paper for M.Sc. Programme has two parts.

  • The first part has questions from Science and Maths (based on Class 12)

  • Second part of JNU paper for MSc. carries questions from Physics, Botany, Geology, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics of B.Sc. level.

JNU Exam Pattern 2020 for M.Sc Physics and Chemistry

  • Questions in this paper appear from Physical Chemistry and Mathematics of B.Sc. (General) level for M.Sc Physics

  • For M.Sc Chemistry, the questions come from Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. M.Sc in Physics and Chemistry contain objective type questions only.

JNU Entrance Exam Pattern 2020 – M.A in Arts and Aesthetics

  • This paper has two sections.

  • Candidates have to answer short and long answer questions.

  • A certain time limit is there to answer both type of questions.

JNUEE Exam Pattern 2020 for M.A Sanskrit

  • This paper is in either English or Sanskrit language.

  • Candidates are required to answer short answer type questions for 100 marks.

  • No negative marking is applicable for this paper.

JNU Exam Pattern 2020 – M.Sc Molecular Science

  • This paper is also divided into two sections.

  • First section contains objective type questions the likes of molecular medicine topics.

  • The second section carries questions from botany, zoology, physics, chemistry and relevant subjects.

For JNU admission 2020, the authority will provide the download link of JNU admit card 2020 from April 21 onwards. Registered candidates can doanlod that till May 14, the last day of the examination. NTA will release the JNUEE result for the UG and PG courses on May 31, 2020.

i want to do pg in literature. is it have entrance exam?

St Joseph's Degree and PG College, Hyderabad has following courses in pg level-

MBA

Master of Communication & Journalism (MCJ)

Evidently,this college doesn't offer English Literature at PG level.

Coming to JNU, it does conduct entrance test for MA English,its syllabus includes topics such as history of English Literature, how development of English Literature took place in India and other parts of world specifically focusing from 18th century onwards, literary criticism and theory etc, basically an in depth understanding of Literature at undergraduate level is required here.

Admission to MA Politics with International Studies will take place through JNUEE.

JNU will hold its entrance test JNUEE for admission of various UG and PG courses in online mode from 11th May to 14th May, 2020.


Online registration for the same will start on 2nd March, 2020 and the last date being 31st March, 2020.
