JNU Exam Pattern 2020 – Jawaharlal Nehru University along with NTA has released the JNU 2020 exam pattern for the candidates aspiring to get admission across the UG and PG programmes of JNU. The JNU exam pattern 2020 comprises of information about several aspects of the exam including mode of exam, number of questions, time duration, sections, etc. By knowing the exam pattern of JNUEE and JNU CEEB, it will be easy for the candidates to grasp the overall type and nature of the exam. Note: As the NTA has taken over as the official exam conducting body for JNU since 2019, it has been conducted in online or computer-based mode. The paper has been divided into two sections.
The first section contains objective type questions from Reasoning, English Grammar, Comprehension, Language for 50 marks.
Second section has descriptive type questions for 50 marks

The questions in paper for M.A Programme are based on microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematics and statistics, International trade, public economics and economic development.
The paper will have 100 objective and subjective type questions.
For this paper, negative marking is applicable.
M.A Language, Literature and Culture Studies test pattern for JNU 2020 contains 100 objective type questions, covering topics from Language, grammar, translations, short essays and society, culture and literature of language origin country.
For this paper, candidates need to answer 100 objective type questions.
JNU paper for M.Sc. programme has two parts.
The first part has questions from Science and Maths (based on Class 12)
Second part of JNU paper for MSc. carries questions from Physics, Botany, Geology, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics of B.Sc. level.
Questions in this paper appear from Physical Chemistry and Mathematics of B.Sc. (General) level for M.Sc Physics
For M.Sc Chemistry, the questions come from Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. M.Sc in Physics and Chemistry contains objective type questions only.
This paper has two sections.
Candidates have to answer short and long answer questions.
A certain time limit is there to answer both types of questions.
This paper is in either English or Sanskrit language.
Candidates are required to answer short answer type questions for 100 marks.
No negative marking is applicable to this paper.
This paper is also divided into two sections.
The first section contains objective type questions the likes of molecular medicine topics.
The second section carries questions from botany, zoology, physics, chemistry and relevant subjects.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct a JNU 2020 exam in online mode. The JNU application form 2020 is available from March 2, while the last date for filling the application form is May 31. For JNU admission 2020, the authority will provide the download link of JNU admit card 2020 after the application window is closed. Registered candidates can download it until the day of the examination. NTA will release the JNUEE result for the UG and PG after the commencement of entrance examination.
