JNU Entrance Exam 2018 – Jawaharlal Nehru University has announced JNU 2018 Entrance Exam on September 10, 2017. The admit card of JNU were released on December 10, 2018. The common entrance examination of JNU was held between December 27 and 30, 2017 for the admission year 2018-19. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through JNUEE 2018 are being held as many as six months before the ‘normal’ admission season. Till last year, the JNU Entrance Exams were used to be held in the month of May. The candidates interested in pursuing PG programmes can fill JNUEE 2018 application form for which online registration begins on September 15, 2017. As per JNUEE 2018, admissions will be offered in a total of 37 postgraduate programmes for 1065 seats. Candidates need to note that the admissions into these seats offered under various PG programmes in the Jawaharlal Nehru University will be done on the merit based as per performance in the JNUEE. Important Notice: JNU has cancelled examination centres of Srinagar and Shillong for conducting JNU entrance examination 2018. Therefore, candidates who opted for Srinagar as preferential centre, will be allotted a centre in Jammu, and those who opted for Shillong, will be allotted a centre in Guwahati.

Jawaharlal Nehru University is conducting JNUEE 2018 for offering admissions into postgraduate programmes under different schools. The admission process of JNU 2018 begins with examination notification and invitation of JNU application form. Those who deem eligible for JNU Admissions 2018 can register for JNUEE 2018 and fill the application form of JNU. Thos who apply for JNU admissions 2018 will be allowed to appear for JNUEE 2018/ JNU CEE 2018 as conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University. Following the conducting of entrance exam, the central university will declare JNU results 2018. Based on the performance in the JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE), the university will publish a merit list of JNUEE 2018. Finally, the admissions at Jawaharlal Nehru University will be offered on the basis of JNUEE 2018 merit list.
Jawaharlal Nehru University offers admissions into as many as 37 postgraduate programmes. These PG programmes are offered under various schools including School of Arts and Aesthetics, School of Biotechnology, School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, School of Computer & Systems Sciences, and School of Environmental Sciences, besides School of International Studies, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies, School of Life Sciences, School of Physical Sciences, School of Life Sciences, School of Social Sciences, Centre for Molecular Medicine and Centre for Sanskrit Studies.
Jawaharlal Nehru University is to soon announce eligibility criteria for JNU 2018 admissions. The central university will specify separate eligibility conditions for each of the offered programmes at JNU. However, it should be noted that the minimum eligibility criteria for each of the offered programmes for JNUEE 2018-19 admissions is having a graduation degree under 10+2+3 education pattern from Jawaharlal Nehru University or any other University recognised by the UGC.
The central university is to begin JNU 2018-19 application form for JNU PG admissions on September 15, 2017, which is almost six months prior to normal admission timeline as JNU application form, last year began in March. The JNU 2018 application form is available only online. Candidates filling JNUEE admission form (JNU application form 2018) will have to first register online for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Common Entrance Examination (JNU CEE/ JNUEE) by providing the necessary details including name, date of birth, address and contact details besides providing their email id, choosing a password and uploading photograph and signature. Candidates will also need to pay an application fee for JNU 2018-19 admissions in online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking payment options. After completely filling JNU 2018 application-cum-admission form, candidates will need to take a print out of the filled-in application form for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE/ JNU CEE) and refer the same for all future correspondences till JNU admissions for the year gets over. However, they need not to send any copy of JNU application form to the JNUEE admission office.
Jawaharlal Nehru University issued JNU 2018 admit card for JNUEE 2018-19 admission on December 10, 2017. The admit card of JNU 2018 will be issued online through the official link available in this page. JNU entrance exam admit card/ hall ticket can be downloaded by logging into the registered accounts by providing JNU 2018-19 registration-cum-application number. JNU admit card 2018 mentions the JNU entrance examination and candidature details including name, roll number, programme code, centre code, examination date, timing and duration of the JNU Entrance Exam. Jawaharlal Nehru University is to conduct JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE/ JNU CEE) between December 27 and December 30, 2017. The JNUEE 2018 is an entrance held by the central university for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across different Schools of study. The university will administer JNUEE 2018 online, where candidates will have to answer their question papers carrying 100 marks in stipulated time duration using a computer system. Further, candidates may note that each of the entrance examination of JNU for the admission year 2018-19 has a different pattern. The questions to be asked in JNU CEE 2018 will be of objective as well as subjective nature, where the objective-type questions will have multiple-choice answers. Candidates here can also note that the central university follows a negative marking policy under which MCQ questions responded with wrong answers will be liable to deduction in marks from the total scored marks in JNUEE 2018.
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be conducting JNUEE 2018-19 in as many as 53 cities designated as JNU 2018 exam centres. The exam centres of JNUEE 2018 include a number of prominent cities including Allahabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gwalior, Goa, Indore, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi and Vishakhapatnam. Among these JNU exam centres, the central university also provides an overseas exam centre in Kathmandu for the candidates who wish to appear for JNUEE 2018 overseas. However, the JNU 2018 exam centre of Kathmandu is subjected to availability of sufficient number of candidates for the JNUEE centre. Candidates must note that Jawaharlal Nehru University reserves the right to cancel or change any exam centre of JNUEE for any reasons. Further, candidates maust also note that the JNU exam centre once allotted to a candidate will not be changed under any circumstance or any request by the JNUEE admission aspirant.
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be declaring JNU 2018 result for JNUEE 2018-19 admission session on February 21, 2018. The result of JNU 2018 will be declared for both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including those whose viva-voice will be required as well as for those where direct admissions will be offered based on written entrance exam of Jawaharlal Nehru University. The central university will publish merit list of JNUEE 2018 based on entrance exam results and cut off of JNU admissions 2018-19. Candidates will be able to check JNU 2018 merit list through the official link available. The JNU merit list will be published for each of the offered postgraduate programmes in the university. Candidates with their names in JNUEE merit list 2018 will specify the names of the candidates shortlisted for admissions into respective programmes. Jawaharlal Nehru University will determine cut off of JNUEE 2018-19 for admissions to offered programmes in the university. JNU 2018 cut off will be the basis of admissions in different programmes in the central university. The varsity will shortlist candidates on the basis of JNUEE 2018-19 cut-off and prepare merit list of JNU CEE.
