JNU Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Jawaharlal Nehru University will release the JNU 2020 eligibility criteria along with the admission notification on March 2 in online mode at nta.jnu.nic.in. Candidates who wish to appear in the entrance examination of JNUEE 2020 must check the eligibility criteria of JNU 2020 to check whether they are eligible for admissions in their desired courses. The JNU eligibility criteria 2020 mentions the academic qualifications and other basic requirements needed for admissions in the university. The eligibility criteria of JNU 2020 will vary for different programmes. It must be noted that candidates appearing for JNUEE 2020 must fulfil JNU eligibility criteria 2020. No candidate will be offered a seat even if they clear the entrance examination if he/she is unable to fulfil the eligibility criteria of JNU 2020.
National Testing Agency will conduct JNUEE from May 11 to May 14, 2020, in a computer-based mode. The online examination will take place in 127 cities and 32 states (including Union Territories).

It is advised that the candidates appearing for JNUEE 2020 must go through the eligibility criteria of JNU 2020 before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria for different UG and PG programmes in JNU admission 2020 may vary based on stream and educational background. For admissions in M.A History and Development & Labour Studies programme, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern securing at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects.
For admissions in M.A Economics programme, candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline securing at least 50 per cent marks aggregate, with knowledge of Mathematics at 10+2 level.
For admissions in M.A Philosophy, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education minimum 50 per cent marks in Social Sciences and Humanities. Candidates belonging to Science & Technology disciplines should have a minimum of 55 per cent marks.
Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree either B.Sc. /B.Tech or Equivalent in Biological/ Physical/ Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology stream from any state or central recognised Institute/ University.
Candidates must have obtained at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate of all subjects.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Physics as one of the subjects in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern securing at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have qualified Bachelor’s Degree either in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined or in Physics Honours or with B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer are also eligible.

The entrance exam will test you on your comprehension, broad understanding of social sciences and themes related to the political, economic and social history and aspects on religion and culture pertaining to Indian and World history for the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary periods. JNU has recently changed its entrance examination mode but hasn't prescribed any books. So you may have to cover your Bachelor degree books for History. Arihant experts have Chapterwise Previous years solved papers but it might not help due to changed exam patten. RPH Editorial board has published JNU MA History entrance exam preparation book. That might help you.
