The cut off of JNU 2018 will be announced in the month of July. The University will announce the JNU cut off 2018 in as many as two rounds based on the performance of test takers in Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination, JNUEE. The minimum marks as announced by the central university for various offered programmes is JNU Cut off. The University will be determining JNU Cut off marks for each of the categories–General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD and Foreign Nationals. A pdf filed of JNU cut off 2018 will be published by the University. The JNU 2018-19 admissions will be based on JNU cut off 2018. Candidates scoring above these JNU cut off marks will be eligible for admissions in the programmes of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

 

JNU 2018 cut off: Instructions

  1. JNU Cut off 2018 will be valid for admissions in the Jawaharlal Nehru University for the admission session 2018-19 only.

  2. Each of the programmes offered by the University will have its respective cut off marks, which are considered the least marks to be shortlisted for JNU 2018 admissions.

  3. Candidates need to score at least and more than the specified JNU cut off marks for admission to their respective programmes.

  4. The University will also publish merit list based on JNU cut off marks 2018.

  5. JNU 2018 cut-off is based on a number of factors including the previous years’ cut off trend.

  6. The JNU cut off marks as announced by the University will be final.

JNU Cut off: M.A. in Politics (with Specialization in International Studies)

 

Candidates belonging to General category need to have secured at least 81 out of 100 marks, OBC categories’ candidate needs to have scored at least 77 marks, while the SC and ST category candidates need to score 74 and 79 marks respectively. Whereas those belonging to PwD category need 70 marks and Foreign Nationals (FN) candidates, 62 marks.

 

JNU Cut off: M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy)

 

Candidates belonging to General category need to have secured at least 84 out of 100 marks, OBC categories’ candidate needs a minimum score of 59, while the SC and ST category candidates need to score 52 and 56 marks respectively whereas those belonging to PwD category need 31 marks.

 

JNU Cut off: M.A. in Geography

 

General category candidates need to secure at least 42.55 out of 100 marks, OBC categories’ candidate needs to score at least 38.39 marks, while the SC and ST category candidates need a score of 37.23 and 38.09 marks, respectively whereas those belonging to PwD category need 25.56 marks.

 

JNU Cut off: M.A. in Philosophy

 

Candidates belonging to General category need to have secured at least 66 out of 100 marks. The OBC categories’ candidate needs to score at least 52 marks, while the SC and ST category candidates need a score of 37 and 54 marks respectively. Whereas those belonging to PwD category need 31 marks and Foreign Nationals (FN), 31.

 

JNU Cut off: M.A. in Political Science

 

Candidates belonging to General category need to have secured at least 65 out of 100 marks, OBC categories’ candidate to have scored at least 56 marks, while the SC and ST category candidates need to score 50 and 55 marks respectively whereas those belonging to PwD category need 35 marks and Foreign Nationals, 34.

 

JNU Cut off: M.Sc. in Physics

 

Candidates belonging to General category need to score at least 48 out of 100 marks. OBC categories’ candidate needs to have scored at least 39 marks, while the SC and ST category candidates need a score 30 and 27 marks, respectively.

 

JNU Cut off: M.A. in English

 

The General category candidates need to have secured at least 76.3 out of 100 marks and OBC categories’ at least 57.8 marks. While the SC and ST category candidates need to score 56.9 and 65 marks respectively. Further, those belonging to PwD category need 51 marks and Foreign Nationals (FN), 44.2 marks.
