JMI Admission 2020 - Jamia Millia Islamia has started releasing the JMI 2020 result from November 5 in the form of selection list. For remaining programmes, the JMI result 2020 will be released soon. The JMI 2020 admit card was released on October 3, via the student portal on jmicoe.in. Candidates can download their JMI admit card 2020 7 days before their respective exams and till the date of the exam. Registered candidates could download and check their exam centre in the JMI 2020 admit card by entering their login ID/ email ID/ mobile number and password. Earlier, the JMI 2020 admission dates for UG and PG programmes were announced in online mode. The JMI admission is being conducted from October 10 and November 22. JMI admission test 2020 or Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam (JMIEE) are held for UG and PG programmes in pen and paper mode in seven cities all over India. Appeared candidates can check the list of selected candidates for UG and PG programmes after the admission test is over. JMIEE qualified candidates are expected to report for JMI 2020 counselling after the results have been announced. The online registration for the JMI 2020 admission process started from February 21.

Before filling out the application form, candidates must make sure that they have checked if they are eligible for that particular courses or not. Failing to fulfil the prescribed JMI 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates will result in them losing their candidature.

The university had released the JMI 2020 application form on February 21 in online mode at jmi.ac.in. To apply for JMI admission, candidates had to make sure that they register and fill the JMI application form 2020 first and foremost. Candidates were required to fill only one application form of JMI for one course. Multiple forms are rejected by the university and the candidates may lose their chance of enrollment. It must also be noted that no JMI 2020 application form received via post/courier are accepted by the university. The JMI 2020 application form is divided into two phases viz. Candidate’s Registration (entry of basic profile) and Entrance Application Submission (choosing of programs, category, submission of application fee etc.)

Steps to fill JMI Application Form 2020
Candidates can follow the following steps to fill the application form of JMI 2020 for a hassle-free process.
Step 1. Registration
Visit the official website of JMI (jmi.ac.in)
Register by providing email ID and mobile number
Click on ‘Register’
Once the registration of admission form is successfully submitted the system will send
an email bearing the Unique CODE with a link to verify the email account, and login (email ID), Password to access the account to the registered email id.
After link verification, and using login ID and Password, applicants may log in to the
portal and proceed to apply for the program(s) of his/her choice and pay the Entrance applicable application fees.

Candidates who have successfully registered can download the JMI admit card from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia University from October 3 onwards. To download their JMI admit card, candidates are required to enter their username ID and password in the login window. After printing the admit card of JMI, the candidates will be required to paste their self-attested passport size recent coloured photograph in the space provided. Aspirants must make sure to follow the printed instructions on their admit card of JMI 2020. Further, candidates are also required to bring valid ID card along with their JMI 2020 admit card on the day of the entrance test. Candidates are also advised to print at least two copies of their JMI admit card as they have to surrender one admit card to the invigilator at the centre.

The offline JMI exam was conducted in seven exam centres of JMI 2020 all over India in pen and paper mode. The examination will be conducted on different dates for different courses and programmes. It is advised that aspirants reach the JMI exam centres an hour before the commencement of the examination. The JMIEE was conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode). Candidates received a question paper with Multiple Choice Questions and OMR sheet. According to the exam pattern of JMI 2020, there was negative marking for every incorrect answer marked on the answer sheet. No marks are awarded for an unanswered question. The candidates must keep in mind that only the ones scoring above 30% in the entrance test will be allowed to go further for the JMI 2020 admission process. Anyone scoring less than 30% will be considered ineligible for going in the next step after written tests, which includes group discussion and interview.

Candidates who manage to qualify the JMIEE exam are required to report for JMI 2020 counselling at the scheduled venue. The details of counselling of JMI 2020 is provided on the same document which mention the JMI result and cut off. The process of JMI counselling 2020 include document verification, remitting the academic fee, etc. Any candidate who does not attend the counselling of JMI 2020 will result in them losing his/her seat.
