JMI Admission 2020 - Jamia Millia Islamia has extended the last date of filling and submitting the application form for JMI 2020 admission to June 15. Earlier, the last date of filling and submitting JMI admission form was May 31. JMI admission test 2021 will be conducted from August 1 to the last week of August, 2020. The online registration for the JMI 2020 admission process started from February 21. The JMI 2020 admit card will be released for the successfully registered candidates after the application window will be closed. The Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam (JMIEE) will commence for UG and PG programmes in pen and paper mode in seven cities all over India. Appeared candidates can check the list of selected candidates for UG programmes and PG programmes, after the admission test is conducted. Before filling out the application form, candidates must make sure that they have checked if they are eligible for that particular courses or not. Failing to fulfil the prescribed JMI 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates will result in them losing their candidature.

The university has released the JMI 2020 application form on February 21 in online mode at jmi.ac.in. To apply for JMI admission, candidates must make sure that they register and fill the JMI application form 2020 first and foremost. Candidates will be required to fill only one application form of JMI for one course. Multiple forms will be rejected by the university and the candidates may lose their chance of enrollment. It must also be noted that no JMI 2020 application form received via post/courier will be accepted by the university. The JMI 2020 application form is divided into two phases viz. Candidate’s Registration (entry of basic profile) and Entrance Application Submission (choosing of programs, category, submission of application fee etc.)
Candidates must make sure to keep the following documents with themselves before starting with filling the JMI application form. The following scanned images must be in the prescribed dimensions only, failure of which will lead in the cancellation of the JMI application form.

Candidates can follow the following steps to fill the application form of JMI 2020 for a hassle-free process.
Step 1. Registration
Visit the official website of JMI (jmi.ac.in)
Register by providing email ID and mobile number
Click on ‘Register’
Once the registration of admission form is successfully submitted the system will send
an email bearing the Unique CODE with a link to verify the email account, and login (email ID), Password to access the account to the registered email id.
After link verification, and using login ID and Password, applicants may log in to the
portal and proceed to apply for the program(s) of his/her choice and pay the Entrance applicable application fees.
Step 2. Fill the JMI application form
Log in using the login credentials
Provide the requisite information such as the name of desired courses, category, etc.
Click on ‘Submit and pay’
Step 3. Upload Images
Upload scanned image of candidate’s coloured passport size photograph with White Background (maximum-100KB)
Upload a scanned image of the candidate’s signature (maximum-100KB)
Step 4. Submit the fee
After clicking on the ‘Pay’ option, candidates can choose the mode of payment.
Pay the JMI application fee by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking

Candidates who have successfully registered will be able to download the JMI admit card from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia university. To download their JMI admit card, candidates will be required to enter their username ID and password in the login window. After printing the admit card of JMI, the candidates will be required to paste their self-attested passport size recent coloured photograph in the space provided. Aspirants must make sure to follow the printed instructions on their admit card of JMI 2020. Further, candidates are also required to bring valid ID card along with their JMI 2020 admit card on the day of the entrance test. Candidates are also advised to print at least two copies of their JMI admit card as they will have to surrender one admit card to the invigilator at the centre.
The following are the steps given for candidates to download the JMI admit card. Candidates can follow the steps to download their hall tickets without any struggles.

The offline JMI exam will be conducted in seven exam centres of JMI 2020 all over India in pen and paper mode. The examination will be conducted on different dates for different courses and programmes. Therefore, candidates are suggested to check the dates of their examination. Further, candidates can find details of their JMI 2020 exam centres printed on the admit card. It is advised that aspirants reach the JMI exam centres an hour before the commencement of the examination. Late-comers will be barred from sitting for the test which will automatically result in their disqualification.

The JMIEE will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode). Candidates will be getting a question paper with Multiple Choice Questions and OMR sheet. According to the exam pattern of JMI 2020, there will be negative marking for every incorrect answer marked on the answer sheet. No marks will be awarded for an unanswered question. The candidates must keep in mind that only the ones scoring above 30% in the entrance test will be allowed to go further for the JMI 2020 admission process. Anyone scoring less than 30% will be considered ineligible for going in the next step after written tests, which includes group discussion and interview.

Jamia Millia Islamia will release the cut off of JMI 2020 along with the result for UG and PG programmes in online mode. The JMI cut off will be released round-wise and differs as per the courses as well as the categories of candidates. The cutoff lists of JMI are released in different rounds in the form of selection list wherein the roll numbers, registration numbers of the qualified candidates along with the counselling dates/schedule and list of documents to be brought to the counselling are mentioned. There are basically two stages of JMI cut-offs – selection list and spot round selection list. The cut off of JMI for spot admissions too may have 3-8 rounds or lists. There are various factors which determine the cut off of JMI 2020 such as the total number of the application forms filled, total number of seats offered, marks scored by candidates and difficulty level of the exam.
It is suggested that candidates check the courses of JMI 2020 in order to know other academic options since sticking on only one course will result in less probability of getting admission through JMI entrance examination. The JMI courses 2020 presents a basic outline of all the courses in the university which may help candidates to make their choices. Candidates who manage to qualify the JMIEE exam will be required to report for JMI 2020 counselling at the scheduled venue. The details of counselling of JMI 2020 will be provided on the same document which will mention the JMI result and cut off. The process of JMI counselling 2020 will include document verification, remitting the academic fee, etc. Any candidate who does not attend the counselling of JMI 2020 will result in them losing his/her seat. The JMI Counselling 2020 will be held at the campus of Jamia Millia Islamia itself. There are/will be no other locations dedicated for the counselling of JMI 2020. It must be noted that the fees shall be accepted by JMI through cash, online or Demand Draft.
Candidates must make sure that they carry the following given documents with them. Failure to provide even one of the documents will lead to the cancellation of candidates’ admission.
Proof of passing the qualifying examination together with the marks sheet in accordance with the eligibility requirements for admission
Proof of age based on the certificate of High School/Secondary School or an equivalent examination

In case an intervening /gap period is involved, the candidate has to submit-
A certificate/ Affidavit from Class1 Gazetted Officer/Notary Public
Proof of permanent address as declared in the Application Form with the name of the nearest Police Station and the District
If a candidate fails to submit his/her result/certificate for the qualifying examination(s) or fails to complete any of the other admission formalities by the last date
At any stage, if any information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or if a candidate has been wrongly admitted due to any reason
Candidates have to prove their academic records mentioned in the online application form, at the time of admission to concern Centre/Faculty/Deptt, failing which admission will not be granted

Hello student as of now there's no changes in examination pattern so it's expected that the examination will held offline as it used to held previously it may get extended because of lockdowon and examination will reschedule after lockdowon but currently there's no notification released on the examination pattern.
