Some Facts about JAM 2016:
Organizing Institute: JAM 2016 is being organized by IIT Madras.
Test Papers: JAM 2016 will have seven test papers, namely, Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH)
Exam Details: JAM 2016 examination will be conducted in ONLINE mode only. A candidate can appear in either one or two test papers subject to the restrictions of test schedule.
Virtual Calculator: The Exam will also feature a virtual calculator for the first time. Candidates will not be allowed to carry a calculator along with them to the exam.
Admit Card: JAM 2016 Admit Card will have to be downloaded by candidates from December 31, 2015 onwards and will not be available to candidates through any other means.
Score Card: The JAM 2016 Score Card will have to be downloaded by candidates.
1. JAM 2016 Biological Sciences Syllabus: Before starting your preparation, it is imperative that students check the the JAM 2016 Syllabus for Biological Sciences. Enzyme mechanisms and kinetics, nucleic acid metabolism, photo synthesis. Microbiology, Cell Biology and Immunology
Classes of microorganizms and their characterization, nutrient requirement for growth; laboratory techniques in microbiology, pathogenic microorganizms and disease; applied microbiology; viruses, Microbial genetics. IIT JAM exam form for registration was released on 5th September and last date for registration was 12th October. I am sorry to say but there is no possibility to apply for the exam after the last date of registration. Correction window will be open in first week of November.
