is a step-by-step guide to aid you in filling the online application form of Delhi University for admissions to three-year undergraduate programmes. DU Admissions 2015 Online Application Form is available from May 28.

Important instructions for Delhi University 2015 Admission-cum-Application Form
– Below are the highlights of DU Admissions 2015 Application Form

  • Application Forms are available from May 28, 2015 in online mode

  • Candidates need to fill in the online applications and submit the same till June 15, 2015

  • The online application form is a pre-registration form for admissions to all undergraduate courses in the University

  • The Common Admission-cum-Application Form is valid for all colleges affiliated to University of Delhi except for St. Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College

  • Candidates will need to fill in the online applications of St. Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College separately

  • Candidates can apply for as many programmes as possible through DU Admissions 2015 Application Form

  • Candidates belonging to various categories including General/OBC/ST/ST/PwD seeking admissions in the 3-year undergraduate programmes need to fill the same application form

  • Candidates can fill the 2015 Online Application Form of Delhi University from the official link provided below in this page

Read below the step-by step guide on Delhi University Admissions 2015 Online Application Form

Delhi University 2015 Applications is a five-step procedure. This is as follows –

Step 1 – Registration

  • Click on "Register" button

  • Email – Provided your active Email address

  • Confirm Email – Re-Enter your Email address (the same which you have entered above)

  • Password – Provide any password (Password should be of minimum 6 characters)

  • Confirm Password – Re-Enter the password (the same which you have entered above)

  • Mobile – Enter your 10 digit mobile number

  • Verification Code – Enter the characters shown in the image (captcha code) above the text box. Click on the image to change the captcha, if it is not readable

  • Click on ‘Register’ button provided at the last

Note – Candidates need to ensure and check the information before clicking 'Register' Button for any typo or spelling mistakes. This information will be used throughout the application and no changes will be allowed thereof.

Step 2 – Login

  • Click on ‘Login’ button provided on the top right corner of the page

  • Email Id – Enter your Email address (the same with which you have registered for DU 2015 UG Applications)

  • Password – Enter password (the same which you provided in Password during registration)

  • Click on ‘Login’ button provided at the last

Note – Applicants who have forgotten their password can reset it by clicking ‘Reset Password’ and entering their registered email id. A ‘Password Reset’ Link will be sent to their registered email id through which the Applicants can set their new password.

Step 3 – Application Form

Once you have login to Application Form Page, you’ll get your personalized dashboard. Next you will need to click on ‘Apply Now’ button which is provided on the left hand side of the screen.

Applicants Details

  • Name – Enter your Full Name as per your matriculation certificate

  • Email – The Email address will be auto-filled by the system

  • Parent/Guardian's Name – Enter your Guardian's Name (Either Father or Mother)

  • Mobile – The Mobile Number will also auto-filled by the system

  • Category – Select the category to which you belong

  • Gender – Select your gender from the dropdown menu as provided

  • Date of Birth – Select the date of your birth, month of your birth and the Year of your birth

  • Address - Enter your House Number and Name of your area. The Country will be auto-filled by the system. Enter the Name of State and Name of District.

  • Pin Code – Enter the 6 digit Pin Code Number

Educational Details

  • Name of Exam Board – Select your Examination Board Name from the dropdown menu. If the Examination Board Name through which you have qualified your exam is not present, select ‘Other’ from the dropdown menu and Enter your Board Name in the text box provided

  • Year of Passing – Select the Year of Passing from the dropdown menu

  • Status of Result – Select the Result Status from the dropdown menu

  • Board Roll No. – Enter your Board Roll No. of Class XII

  • Subject Name – Select your Subject Name from the dropdown menu. If not found, select ‘Other Subject’ from the dropdown menu and enter your subject name

  • Subject Code – Your Subject Code will be auto-filled by the system

  • Maximum Marks – Enter the maximum marks of your subject

  • Marks Obtained – Enter the marks you have obtained in that subject

NoteApplicants are allowed to choose five different subjects out of which they can choose one other Language Core, one Other Language Elective and one Other Subject.

Additional Details (Optional)

  • Family Income – Select your Family's annual income from the dropdown menu

  • Schooling – Select your schooling from the dropdown menu

  • School Location – Select your School Location from the dropdown menu

  • Medium of Study – Select your Medium of Study from the dropdown menu

NoteAll these fields are optional.

Course(s) You Wish to Study

  • Course Choice – Select your choice of courses from the dropdown menu

Note – Applicants can select as many courses as they want.


  • Declaration – Applicants are required to provide declaration before submitting the form by clicking on the box provided

Step 4 – Registration/Application Fee

  • Click on the ‘Make Payment’ button to submit your application fee from the dashboard. You can use your card credentials and make payment in online mode

Note – Please note that applicants are not allowed to update/modify their application form in any circumstances once they have paid the application fee. Registration Fee is non-refundable.

Step 5 – Download Application Form

  • Click on the ‘Print Form’ button to view your submitted form with Delhi University Admissions 2015 Application Form Number and QR Code.

Note – Please note that tamper/alter application form will not be acceptable/entertained by the department/university.

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.


Can I get admission in Delhi University for doing B.Tech on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th or it is compulsory to give entrance examination ?

Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Management Studies
  • Bachelor of Business Administration - FIA
  • B.A. (Hons) - Business Economics
  • B. Tech. - (IT&M)
  • B.A. (Hons) - Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.)
  • B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports
  • B.A. (Hons) – MMC
  • B.A. (Hons) – Music

Presently , Im in class 12th with Maths Stream. I have scored 81% in class 10th from ICSE board. Now what should I do after class 12th if I dont want to apply for JEE. What should be my preferences in getting admission in a good government college for doing B.Tech especially in Delhi University ?

If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:

du mea Direct admission ho sakta hai

There are hundreds of college that comes under DU.
There is different eligiblity criteria for different colleges.To get admission in top colleges of DU like SRCC, St. Stephens college, hansraj college,Miranda house, hindu college etc you can get direct admission but you will have to score 95 and above percentage in your 12th board examination.
If you are general category then aim for above 97%.
