The admission to the 91 DU affiliated colleges takes place depending upon the candidates’ ‘Best of Four’ aggregate marks. In order to calculate the best of four marks, candidates must have four subjects from the qualifying examination.
To calculate the best of four, the following subjects will be taken into account by the Delhi University:
One language (Core/Elective/Functional)
One subject (For which candidate wishes to apply)
Any two academic subjects
It must be noted that the best of four means the marks of those subjects (where the candidates have scored the highest out of all the subjects) will be included for offering admission to DU courses.
After the release of the Gargi cut off 2020, candidates will be required to follow the admission procedure which is given as below-
Step 1. Admission Form
After the release of Gargi cut off list, candidates must make sure that they have cross-checked the required percentage and their ‘Best of four’ aggregate marks.
If the candidates satisfy the Gargi College 2020 cut off, then, they can log in to their student’s portal and select the appropriate course and college of their choice.
Once selected, candidates will be required to print out their admission form.
Step 2. Documents Verification
Candidates will be required to visit the individual college’s campus to get themselves enrolled.
During the admission-cum-counselling process, candidates must not forget to carry the following documents-
Class X Board Examination Certificate
Class X mark sheet
Class XII mark sheet
Class XII provisional certificate/ original certificate
Category (SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM) certificate (If applicable)
OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate (If applicable)
Migration certificate from
Two passport size self-attested photographs
Step 3. Pay the academic fee online
Once the verification of the documents is done, candidates will be needed to login to their student portal again to remit the academic fee.
The admission of candidates will only be deemed as complete if they have paid the fee for the semester.
Step 4. Cancellation of admission
In case of the cancellation of the admission in the college, candidates will be required to cancel their admission online and pay the cancellation fee/withdrawal fee.
Print the receipt of the cancellation fee and submit the same to the respective college and withdraw the submitted documents.
Follow Steps 1 to 3 to get admission into another preferred college.
Any balance in the fee will be adjusted.
