Delhi University Seventh Cutoff List 2015 has been announced by the several colleges of the Central University on July 23 afternnon for admissions to offered courses under three-year programme structure. Candidates will be offered admissions to the opted courses, only if they meet the seventh cutoff for DU Admissions 2015 as announced by the affiliated colleges. DU 7th Cutoff List for 2015 Admissions will be the last cutoff list. Candidates can check DU 7th Cutoff List 2015 on this page through the official list below.

 

DU aspirants who clear the minimum marks at par 7th cutoff can apply for admissions to the courses of their choice between July 24 and July 27, 2015. The candidates will also need to remit the admission fees in the scheduled admission window itself.

Last year, only a few colleges including Daulat Ram, Deen Daulat Upadhyaya, Ramanujan, Hans Raj and Ramjas had declared the seventh cutoff for a few preferred courses including BA, BA (H) English and B.Com.

Besides admissions for several of the courses including the most preferred ones were closed in a majority of DU colleges. However, Daulat Ram had declared the seventh cutoff with 83% for BA course for the General category. While, Deen Dayal Upadhayaya College had declared 87.5% cutoff for BA (H) English, Hans Raj continued to mark the cutoff as high as 96% even in the 7th cutoff. Colleges like ARSD had offered seats in BA (H) Economics at 96.75 cutoff marks under the General category. While colleges like Ramanujan had declared the 7th cutoff marks at 88.5 for courses like B.Com, Kamla Nehru College had raised the cutoff marks bar as high as 94.5 for the course, Maitreyi at 93.75 and Ramjas at 97.

The University has 16 faculties and 86 departments spread over North and South campuses in the National Capital. The Central University has 83 affiliated colleges with around 150000 students in regular programmes and about 250000 students enrolled in its other programmes.

If I want to get admission in BSC honours in mathematics in Delhi University on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th , then what all subjects can I register for the calculation of percentage to be written in Merit list ? Can I register with Mathematics, computer and chemistry ?

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.

Can I get admission in Delhi University for doing B.Tech on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th or it is compulsory to give entrance examination ?

Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Management Studies
  • Bachelor of Business Administration - FIA
  • B.A. (Hons) - Business Economics
  • B. Tech. - (IT&M)
  • B.A. (Hons) - Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.)

Presently , Im in class 12th with Maths Stream. I have scored 81% in class 10th from ICSE board. Now what should I do after class 12th if I dont want to apply for JEE. What should be my preferences in getting admission in a good government college for doing B.Tech especially in Delhi University ?

If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:

Hello,


There are hundreds of college that comes under DU.
There is different eligiblity criteria for different colleges.To get admission in top colleges of DU like SRCC, St. Stephens college, hansraj college,Miranda house, hindu college etc you can get direct admission but you will have to score 95 and above percentage in your 12th board examination.
If you are general category then aim for above 97%.
