Delhi University Fourth Cutoff List 2014 – The Fourth cutoff list has been released by the Delhi University Colleges on July 10 late night for admissions to the respective courses in the Undergraduate Programme. You may secure admissions in the colleges from July 11 to July 12, 2014 for the respective courses as per the Fourth cutoff released by the colleges and the availability of the chosen courses in the very colleges.

The process of admissions in the varsity has begun from June 2. The 13 days window for applications beginning from June 2 was closed on June 16, 2014 with a total of 278485 applications received for around 54000 seats for admissions in 70 colleges. Last year around 254339 applications were received in total.

 

This year in the pre-admission form of Delhi University 2014, the applicants were required to fill the courses as per their choice and there was no such option provided for choosing the colleges. The admissions to the colleges would depend on the cut-off of released by the colleges and the availability of the very courses in the colleges.

Delhi University Fourth Cutoff List may provide an overview of the cutoff for 2014 Admissions. The constituent colleges of Delhi University have released Fourth cutoff on July 10 and has been provided in this page as below.

You can further process your admissions in the colleges for the courses of your choice between July 11 and July 12 as per their availability of the courses in the colleges after the Fourth cutoff is released by the colleges.

If I want to get admission in BSC honours in mathematics in Delhi University on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th , then what all subjects can I register for the calculation of percentage to be written in Merit list ? Can I register with Mathematics, computer and chemistry ?

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.

Can I get admission in Delhi University for doing B.Tech on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th or it is compulsory to give entrance examination ?

Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Management Studies
  • Bachelor of Business Administration - FIA
  • B.A. (Hons) - Business Economics
  • B. Tech. - (IT&M)
  • B.A. (Hons) - Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.)
  • B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports
  • B.A. (Hons) – MMC
  • B.A. (Hons) – Music

Presently , Im in class 12th with Maths Stream. I have scored 81% in class 10th from ICSE board. Now what should I do after class 12th if I dont want to apply for JEE. What should be my preferences in getting admission in a good government college for doing B.Tech especially in Delhi University ?

Dear Aspirant,

If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:

There are hundreds of college that comes under DU.
There is different eligiblity criteria for different colleges.To get admission in top colleges of DU like SRCC, St. Stephens college, hansraj college,Miranda house, hindu college etc you can get direct admission but you will have to score 95 and above percentage in your 12th board examination.
If you are general category then aim for above 97%.
