Hustle to get into the Miranda Hostel - You surely don’t wanna miss on MH- Home
The word Hostel does make us homesick and a bit afraid towards questions like how the food, fellow students, rules, and importantly the Warden would be. But none among those is applicable when you are in Miranda HouseHostel. It is a Home that you would never want to leave. Not a single hosteller remembers what homesickness actually is.
What makes the Miranda House Hostel so special is that it is perfect in every way for an inmate. Starting with the food, which is important and can’t be compromised, the food here is awesomely delicious and hygienic. The old English style structure of mess has a capacity for over 100 hostellers to eat at a time. Each meal is planned in the best possible way and the decorum of the entire mess is worth mentioning.
For a fresher, the senior students are not dangerous at all! They support each other in every possible way, be it in examinations, ‘Masti’ after the classes or even with the extra-curricular activities. Hostellers eat, study, dance, shout, act and almost do everything together in appropriate manners. The Hostel inside its walls is a little family with a strong bond.
For most of us, a Warden is someone when imagined presents a picture of the cruel Cruella de Vil! In Miranda House, the picture transforms into an Angel! Miranda House warden lets you breathe and enjoy as much as you can. The rules are not meant to bound girls from a day-to-day routine. They have a simple funda of letting the girls enjoy the spirit of womanhood. Though there are guidelines which are to be followed by every resident, rest, even being a hosteller you can explore as much as you want.
Among many facilities at Miranda Hostel, there is television to watch, Student resource Centre opens till late evenings to work in, 24x7 Wi-Fi, café, playing courts and great ambience and room facilities.

The girls at Miranda may not be proud of anything else, but their pride is clearly represented when they are called as a ‘Mirandaian’. ‘Mirandaian’ if defined is an exceptional and extraordinary league of women generation, who uplifts Miranda House to a new level every time in each task.
When we asked Eisha, a second year student of Sociology, an Indian representative at the United Nations students programme, how she feels about representing India, she said, “It is a proud feeling to represent my country, but what’s more important for me is that I am representing Miranda House at UN level. It’s a pride to the core.”

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.
Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:
