How to avail Sports Quota in DU?
A Sports/ECA Form has been offered to every aspirants other than a pre-admission form following the submission of which, he/she will be called in for trials for the final selection and admissions in the opted colleges.
Admission Procedure based on Sports Quota – The applicants applying for admissions in the colleges of Delhi University will have to go through a two step selection processes. In the first step, the certificates will be scrutinized for the best performance in the last three years. The applicant should have received the sports certificates at any of the four levels- State, Zonal, National and International and should have won a position at the respective level. The selection based on certificates will weigh 25% and the rest 75% will be based on field trials. The field trials will again have two rounds and shall be the final step of the selection process.
The dates of the preliminary and final trials will be available at the respective college websites and notice-boards. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the preliminary level only once for a particular event.
Admissions based on Sports Trials – The candidates must qualify any two of the below listed fitness test. The candidates will be awarded a maximum of 50 marks for Sports Certificates.

Endurance – 1000 metres Run/Walk
Speed – 50 metres Dash
1.65 metres of Men
5.00 minutes for Men
8.00 seconds for Men
1.15 metres of Women
6.00 minutes for Women
9.00 seconds for Women
Selection based without trials – Some of the candidates can also be selected without trials but that is subject to university norms. Candidates who have participated/ represented the country in the following competitions are eligible for the same:
Sports Quota Reservation – The constituent colleges offering Sports Quota as directed by the University follows a provision of selecting candidates not more than 5% of the total number of seats in a particular course in the college. Candidates need to secure a minimum of 18 marks in trial for sports admission.

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.
Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:
If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:
