CUET Exam Pattern 2023 Revised
The CUET entrance test 2023 will be conducted in three slots. The duration of first slot is 45 to 195 minutes and the duration of the second slot is 45 to 225 minutes. The duration of the CUET UG exam for third slot will be notified soon.
The CUET 2023 consist of one language test, two domain-specific papers and the general test. contain four domain-specific subjects and option language subjects.
If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be rewarded five marks.

CUET Exam Pattern 2023 - Key Points
The CUET 2023 exam will be held in three slots on different days based on the subjects chosen by the candidates.
The candidates can take a maximum of 4 test in Slot 1 which will be held in the morning shift. These tests include one language from Section IA, maximum of two domain specific subjects from Section II and one General Test from Section III.
The CUET 2023 examination for slot 2 will be held in afternoon and candidates can take a maximum of 5 tests in the following manner -
One language from Section IA & IB and a maximum of four domain-specific subjects from Section II.
Two languages from Section IA & IB and a maximum of three domain specific subjects from Section II.
- The CUET for slot 3 will be held in evening.

Points to Remember CUET Exam Pattern 2023
A candidate can choose a maximum of 3 languages from Sections IA and IB taken together. (One of the chosen languages needs to be a domain-specific language)
In Section II, candidates can select a maximum of 6 Subjects from 27 available options.
Section III consists of the General Test.
A candidate can take a maximum of 10 test in the following manner - (To be updated as per recent changes)
Maximum of 2 languages from Section IA and Section IB taken together, maximum of 6 domain subjects from Section II and General Test from Section III.
Maximum of 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB taken together, maximum of 5 domain subjects from Section II and General Test from Section III.

CUET 2023 Exam Day Guidelines – Things to Keep in Mind
Reach the examination CUET 2023 exam centre around 1.30 to 2 hours before the exam begins. Don’t leave it at the mercy of time and don’t take chances. You should expect the unexpected on the exam day that may include traffic logging, roadblocks, heavy rain, unexpected bad weather, delay in transportation, etc. It must also be kept in mind that in most the cases, test takers are not allowed to enter the exam venue 30 minutes before the exam commencement, as the gates are closed 30 minutes before for ensuring the other formalities inside.
Make a double check of the documents mandatory on the exam day. Carry them with you without fail. This includes your CUET admit card hard copy and an authorized photo ID.
Have a sound sleep the night before to avoid any delays in getting up in time on the examination day.
As there is negative marking in CUET, be extra careful not to attempt any answer incorrectly.
If possible, pay a visit to the examination centre in advance, a few days or a day before the examination to have a complete idea of the place so that you can save on time and stay hassle-free on the exam day.
Try to carry as few belongings as possible, as most of the items won’t be allowed inside the exam centre.
