Banaras Hindu University has invited applications for admissions in Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University. Banaras Hindu University shall offers B.Com programmes in Faculty of Commerce and conducts Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UET) for admissions to the academic session 2014.

BHU UET 2014 Question Pattern – BHU UET 2014 shall have one paper comprising of Objective Type Questions covering Accounting and Business Organisation, Economics and Money Banking, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs along with a section for Language Comprehension.
The standard will be of 10+2 examination or equivalent.
Number of Questions – BHU UET 2014 shall have one paper comprising of 150 objective type questions. Each question will be provided with four responses. Each section will carry 30 questions.
Total Marks – Each question of BHU UET 2014 shall be of 3 marks therefore the total marks allotted to BHU UET 2014 is 450 marks.
BHU UET 2014 Exam Duration – BHU UET 2014 shall commence at 3:00 pm. Candidates will be allowed 120 minutes to take BHU UET 2014.
BHU UET 2014 Marking Scheme – Each correct response the every question shall fetch 3 marks. Moreover as per the negative marking scheme, one shall be deducted for every incorrect response. Zero marks will be awarded to every non-answered question. Candidates responding any question with more than one choice will be regarded as wrong answer and negative marking shall be made for the very question. The Paper will also include two sets of multiple choice questions on Language comprehension, one each in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer either the Hindi language set or the English language set but not both.
BHU UET 2014 Medium– Candidates will be provided BHU UET 2014 Questions in English, and Hindi, except for the questions from Proficiency in Language comprehension.
BHU UET 2014 Centers – BHU UET 2014 shall be conducted on May 19, 2014 at the following test centres –
Mirzapur – Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur
BHU UET 2014 B.Com. (Hons.) Applicants must note the following –
The University reserves the right to cancel any of the centres except Varanasi without assigning any reason. Candidates should, therefore, choose three centres in order of preference in their Application Forms.
The Centre allotted will be indicated in the Admit Card. Applicants must note that the Examination Centre once allotted to a candidate shall not be changed.
The final decision to allot a Centre to a candidate shall rest with the University.
An outstation Centre can be cancelled due to inadequate number of candidates or due to any other reason. The candidate in such a case shall be allotted another centre.
Blind candidates will be allotted Varanasi only as examination centre.
