Amrita University Counselling for admission to engineering courses (B.Tech): Candidates are offered admission to the UG engineering courses based on the basis of All India Ranks of JEE Mains 2019 or based on the AEEE rank 2019, as preferred by the candidate, through an online common seat allocation process for all the five engineering campuses under Amrita University.

Amrita University Counselling 2019 for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma & MDS: Candidates who will qualify NEET PG exam can register the counselling process for admission to PG medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma & MDS. Based on the merit list, the seats will be allotted to the shortlisted candidates. Candidates who secured minimum qualifying marks will be granted for the admission to postgraduate medical courses in Amrita University. Candidates will able to get their seats based on the score secured in the NEET PG 2019 for courses includes medical, dental and AYUSH.
Amrita University 2019 counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS & BAMS: The final Selection for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses is based on the rank secured in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The seats will be filled based on the Rank Order (All India NEET Overall Rank) under each category. counselling and Admission for MBBS/BDS & BAMS will commence after receipt of the rank list from NEET UG 2019. The Amity University will not send any separate call letter for the counselling process. Admissions will be done based on the availability of seats. first off all i can say there is not much effect of a college for bsc pcm course ,however college has a good role to play in bba or other placements . overall amrita university is a good college .its infrastructure is quite nice and here is not any lack of resources . its fee for bsc and bba is about 40,000 which is quite more than other good colleges in mysore .it is a good college but i cannot say it is the best .there are also other good colleges in mysore too.checkout this

However if you wish to seek scholarship in any university then most university offers scholarship based on boards percentage.
As far as i know,Amrita offers scholarship only on the basis of entrance exam scores and rank in the merit list.

Well, both the colleges you mentioned are one of the best private engineering colleges in India with best placement. So it's upto your interest and convenience that which college you'll choose. But if you do not want to persue integrated course, then you may choose Amrita university. Otherwise VIT is the best with excellent infrastructure and vast laboratories.
