Allahabad University Admission 2019 - Allahabad University will conduct the Allahabad University Admission 2019 also known as Under Graduate Admission Test or UGAT 2019 and Post Graduate Admission Test or PGAT 2019 in third week of May 2019. Candidates interested to apply for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university should apply online. Candidates appearing will be given a choice to attempt the Admission Test both UGAT and PGAT in either Online or Offline mode. Candidates need to mention their choice while filling the application and must also note that once selected there will be no provision to change the mode of examination.The online test will be conducted in the All India Level while the Offline test will be conducted in a select few exam centres which will be mentioned in the application form. Allahabad University will start the registration and application process for both UGAT and PGAT in the Second and third week of April 2019 respectively. Allahabad University Admission 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for UGAT admissions are mentioned her. Candidates who wish to appear for the undergraduate programmes can check the eligibility criteria here.
Candidates who wish to apply for the B.A, B.F.A and B.P.A programmes must make sure to have completed their Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.S.C. or an examination equivalent.
Candidates who wish to appear for the B.Sc programmes must have completed their qualifying examination in the Science stream (Maths & Biology group respectively)
The B.Sc (Home Science) stream is open only to female candidates who have completed their intermediate level in the science stream.
Candidates interested to apply for the B.Com programmes must have completed their Class 12 in the Commerce stream.
Candidates who wish to apply for the B.A (Music)/ B.P.A stream must have Music as one of the subject in their Intermediate level or they should have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognized Institution.
PGAT (I&II) Eligibility Criteria
PGAT I contains subjects mentioned in List I - IV and PGAT II contains subjects mentioned in List V
Candidates who wish to apply for the PGAT exam for the courses mentioned in I and II can check the eligibility criteria mentioned here as per the Parts I and II
For Subjects mentioned in Part I (List I-IV)
Applications can be given for only those subjects which a candidates has taken or appeared in for their qualifying examination.
Candidates who wish to apply for a programme which they have not taken up during their graduation have the following subjects to choose from (a) Hindi (b) English (c) Med. & Mod. History (d) Ancient History (e) Political Science (f) Philosophy (g) Education.
Candidates who wish to apply for the following subjects must fulfill the given eligibility criteria (a) Sociology (b) Psychology provided they have 1st Division in any stream of Graduation i.e. 60 percent marks.
Economics subject provided they have Maths, Statistics at UG Level or had studied Economics upto B. A. - II Year.
For Subjects mentioned in List V
Candidates who wish to apply for the subjects mentioned in List V will have to apply in a separate Application Form.
M.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry:
Candidates must have passed the B.Sc. Part III Examination with Chemistry/ Biochemistry as one subject and Botany/ Physiology / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology/Industrial Fish and Fisheries as the other subject, or the B.Sc. (Honours) Examination with Chemistry / Biochemistry / Botany / Physiology / Zoology / Biotechnology/Microbiology as the main/subsidiary subject (Chemistry/Biochemistry being preferably the main subject),
M.Sc. in Agricultural Science (Agricultural Botany/Agricultural Chemistry & Soil Science/Agricultural Zoology & Entomology): Candidates must have completed the B.Sc. (Agriculture) Examination (Four-Year Course)
M.A. in Mass Communication: Graduates from all subjects are eligible to apply.
M.P.A. (Vocal/Sitar/Tabla: Candidates must have passed the B.A. Music (Three Year Course) Examination or the B.A. Part III Examination with Music as one of the subjects, or the B.A. (Honours) Examination with Music as the main subject, or the Sangeet Praveen/Alankar/ Nipun (or similar) Examination recognized by the University as equivalent to the B.A. Examination in Music. A Practical Test of 100 marks will also be conducted.
To apply for Allahabad University UGAT 2019 candidates need to first register themselves online.

Choose the entrance exam of your choice and click on the ‘Apply’ button.
Enter the details requested by the page carefully.
After registration is complete, candidates will receive his/her application number and password.
Documents to be uploaded
While filling the application form candidates are required to have the following documents in hand scanned copy of their coloured photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm) and their signature in JPEG Format (*.JPG) 80 KB and signature in JPEG (* .JPG) 50 KB Format
After the registration process candidates will receive an application number and password with which they can start filling the application form.
Candidates must make sure that they fill all the fields mentioned in the application form.
The application fee also has to be submitted in the online mode.
Application fee can be paid in the online mode through credit card/debit card/net banking. The application fee for UGAT 2019 candidates from General and OBC categories is Rs. 700 and SC, ST and PH categories is Rs. 350.
Allahabad University Admission 2019 - Exam Centres
UGAT and PGAT Exam Centres 2019
While the Online test will be conducted in the All India Level, the Offline Admissions test for UGAT and PGAT programmes such as M.A/ M.Sc./ M.Com./M.Tech. course will be conducted simultaneously at thirteen centres across the country such as Allahabad, Bareilly, Delhi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Patna, Bhopal, Bangaluru, Kolkata, Srinagar, Agra and Kanpur.
The complete address and other details related to the examination centres will be given in the Admit card.
In case the number of registered candidates at any of the examination centres is less than 25 (Twenty five), then the registered candidates will be allotted the nearest centre.
The admit card for both UGAT and PGAT programmes will be available in the online mode. The admit card for the UGAT courses will be available in the Second week of May 2019 while the admit card for the PGAT courses will be available in the third week of May 2019.
The admit card will contain the details related to the examination and examination centre.
Candidates must make sure to check the details related to the exam centre such as name of exam centre and address carefully before downloading the admit card.
Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre without which they will not be allowed to attend the exam.
UGAT Exam Pattern
The Admission Test for UGAT will be conducted for a duration of Two Hours.
Candidate have to answer a total of 150 multiple choice questions.
2 marks will be allotted for every correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
PGAT Exam Pattern
The First Fifty Questions will be from General Awareness, General English, General Hindi and Mental Ability which has to be answered by ever candidate irrespective of the subject they appear for.
There will be Two Sets of 50 Questions related to Subjects which the candidate has
If a candidate has chosen only one subject then he/she will have to solve 100 questions which means 50 Compulsory and 50 of the subject in 90 minutes.
Candidate who have chosen two subjects will have to solve 150 questions that is 50 compulsory questions 50 questions from one subject and 50 from the second subjects in 120 minutes.
The test will contain Multiple Choice Questions for 2 marks each. 0.5 (Half) mark would be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The results of UGAT will be released in the second week of June 2019 while the PGAT results will be announced in the third week of June 2019. The results of the Allahabad University Admission Tests will be available in the online mode only. Candidates must make sure to check all the details such as marks scored and the rank in their results.
The cutoff of Allahabad University admission test will be released online. The university will release close to 5 cutoff lists mentioning the closing rank and the date, time and venue for the candidates to attend the counselling. Candidates are advised to carry all the necessary documents along with them during the document verification process.
The counselling process of Allahabad University will commence shortly after the release of the cutoff lists of UGAT and PGAT. The counselling dates will be mentioned in the cutoff list along with the closing rank for each counselling round. Candidates must make sure to take all the necessary documents along with them for the counselling process.
